4. Introduction

The audio converter is an ideal expansion for TVs,
home cinemas and game consoles. Frequently,these
devices do not have all of the connections that are
required. Most often, thereisadigital audio output
for connecting to asurround sound system. However,
if you want to connect to astandardstereo system or
active speakers, the required connections areoften
not available.
The audio converter lets you tap into the digital
sound output using the coaxial output or the optical
output. The device converts the digital sound and
then outputs it to an analogue stereo sound output
(2 xRCA).
The converter is suitable for digital sound signals at
sampling rates up to 96 kHz and resolutions up to
24 bits, and can thus be used in almost any
situation.

5. Getting started and operation

Beforeinstallation, ensurethat all devices to be
connected areswitched off.

•Connect aToslink cable (not included) to the
‘Toslink’ audio input (1) or an RCAcable (not
included) to the ‘Coaxial’ audio input (2) and to
your playback device (for example, TV,Blu-ray
player,game console).

•Now connect another RCAcable (2 RCA–2RCA,
not included) to the ‘R/L’audio output (5) and to
your audio device (for example, amplier,active
speaker).

Note

The white RCAplug connects to the LEFT audio
output, the redRCA plug to the RIGHT audio
output.

•Connect the connecting cable of the power supply
unit to the 5V DC connection (4).

•Now connect the power supply unit to an easily
accessible outlet. The power LED (3) lights up red.

4. Einführung

Der Audio Konverter ist die ideale Erweiterung für
TV,Heimkino und Spielekonsole. Häugbieten diese
Geräte nicht alle benötigten Anschlüsse. Ein digitaler
Audioausgang zum Anschluss an eine Surround-An­lage ist in den meisten Fällen vorhanden. Wenn man
allerdings eine Verbindung zu einer herkömmlichen
Stereoanlage oder Aktivlautsprechern herstellen
möchte, fehlen häugdie nötigen Anschlüsse.
Der Audio Konverter macht es möglich, über den
Koaxial-Ausgang oder den optischen Ausgang den
digitalen To nabzugreifen; dieser wirdimGerät umge­wandelt und an einem analogen Stereoton-Ausgang
(2xCinch) zur Verfügung gestellt.
Der Konverter ist geeignet für digitale Tonsignale mit
einer Abtastfrequenz bis 96 kHz und einer Auösung
bis zu 24 Bit und ist somit sehr universell einsetzbar.

5. Inbetriebnahme und Betrieb

Stellen Sie vor der Installation sicher,dass alle Gerä­te, die sie anschließen wollen, ausgeschaltet sind.

•Verbinden Sie ein Toslink-Kabel (nicht im
Lieferumfang enthalten) mit dem Audio-Eingang
“Toslink“ (1) oder ein Cinch-Kabel (nicht im
Lieferumfang enthalten) mit dem Audio-Eingang
„Coaxial“ (2) und Ihrem Wiedergabegerät (z.B. TV,
Blu-ray-Player,Spielekonsole)

•Verbinden Sie nun ein weiteres Cinchkabel
(2 Cinch –2Cinch, nicht im Lieferumfang enthal­ten) mit dem Audio-Ausgang „R/L“(5) und Ihrem
Audiogerät (z.B. Verstärker,Aktivlautsprecher).

Hinweis

Der weiße Cinchstecker entspricht dem LINKEN
Audioausgang und der rote Cinchstecker dem
RECHTEN Audioausgang.

•Schließen Sie das Verbindungskabel des Netzteil
am Anschluss „DC/5V“ (4) an.

•Verbinden Sie das Netzteil nun mit einer leicht
erreichbaren Steckdose. Die Power-LED (3) leuchtet
nun rot.

•Reinigen Sie dieses Produkt nur mit einem fussel­freien, leicht feuchten Tuch und verwenden Sie

4. Introduction

Le convertisseur audio est l'extension parfaite de
votretélévision, cinéma àdomicile ou console de
jeux. Ces appareils disposent rarement de tous les
raccordements nécessaires. Une sortie audio numé­rique permettant de raccorder une chaîne surround
est généralement disponible. Parcontre, il est
souvent impossible de raccorder une chaîne stéréo
traditionnelle ou des haut-parleurs actifs.
Tout est possible avec un convertisseur audio :la
sortie coaxiale ou optique vous permet d’obtenir un
son numérique ;cedernier est convertit dans l’appa­reil et transmis àlasortie de son stéréo analogique
(2 xRCA).
Le convertisseur est adapté aux signaux audio
numériques d'une fréquence d'échantillonnage
jusqu’à 96 kHz et d'une résolution jusqu’à 24 bits ;
son utilisation est ainsi universelle.

5. Mise en service et fonctionnement

Avant l’installation, assurez-vous que tous les appa­reils que vous souhaitez brancher sont hors tension.

•Branchez un câble Toslink (non fourni) àl’entrée
audio “Toslink” (1) ou un câble RCA(non fourni)
àl'entrée audio “Coaxiale” (2) et effectuez la
connexion avec votreappareil de lecture(télévi­seur,lecteur Blu-ray,console de jeu, etc.).

•Branchez un autrecâble RCA(2jacks RCA–
2jacks RCA, non fourni) àl’entrée audio “R/L”
(5) et àvotreappareil audio (amplicateur,haut­parleur actif,etc.).

Remarque

Le connecteur RCAblanc correspond àlasortie
audio DROITE, le connecteur RCArouge àla
sortie DROITE.

•Branchez le câble de raccordement du bloc secteur
àlaconnexion “DC/5V” (4).

•Branchez ensuite le bloc secteur àune prise de
courant facilement accessible. La LED Power (3)
s‘allume en rouge.

4. Introducción

El convertidor de audio es la ampliación ideal para
TV,cine doméstico yvideoconsolas. Frecuentemente,

una salida digital de audio paralaconexión de un

4. Общие сведения

Аудиоконвертер — это идеальное дополнение
ктелевизору, домашнему кинотеатру иигровой
приставке. Часто эти устройства оснащены не
всеми необходимыми разъемами. Цифровой
аудиовыход для подключения каудиоаппаратуре
имеется вбольшинстве случаев. Однако если вы
хотите подключиться кобычным стереофониче­ским или активным громкоговорителям, часто не
хватает необходимых разъемов.
Аудиоконвертер позволяет выводить цифровой
звук через коаксиальный или оптический выход.
Он преобразуется вустройстве ивыводится через

розетке. Горит красная лампа индикации
питания (3).

нормативы 2012/19/EU и 2006/66/EU

приборы, атакже батареи иаккумуляторы после
их использования вспециально предназначенных
для этого пунктах сбора, либо впунктах продажи.
Детальная регламентация этих требований
осуществляется соответствующим местным
законодательством. Необходимость соблюдения
данных предписаний обозначается особым
значком на изделии, инструкции по эксплуатации
или упаковке. При переработке, повторном
использовании материалов или при другой
форме утилизации бывших вупотреблении
приборов Вы помогаете охране окружающей
среды. Всоответствии спредписаниями по
обращению сбатареями, вГермании
вышеназванные нормативы действуют для
утилизации батарей иаккумуляторов.
