and information completely.Please keep these
instructions in asafe place for futurereference. If
you sell the device, please pass these operating
instructions on to the new owner.

experts or aspecialist retailer
•The radio-controlled socket meets the requirements
for the IP 44 rating, meaning it is splash-proof
and is suitable for outdoor use. Water jets should
not be aimed at the product (e.g. agarden hose
or other irrigation systems)! Operate the product
either indoors or in protected outdoor areas (e.g.
below eaves/roof overhang, in agarage, etc.).
Protect the product from rain. Otherwise thereisa
risk of alife-threatening electric shock!
•Never connect the radio-controlled socket to an
extension cable or adapter.Itmust be plugged
directly into amains socket. Connecting the timer
in any other way may cause it to overheat.
•Use the timer switch only in permanent wall
sockets.
•Donot operate the product outside the power
limits given in the specications.
•Disconnect from the mains beforecleaning the
device.
•Donot use this product with any devices that are
motorised or any devices that have arotating
component or workpiece. Thereisarisk of injury.
3. Connecting and getting started
Note
On extending Hama radio-controlled socket
sets. It cannot be guaranteed that radio remote
controls of other manufacturers will work.
Plug the radio-controlled socket into an outdoor
earthed socket.
To test the radio-controlled socket and for manual
use without aremotecontrol, press the “On/Off”
button. When the button is pressed, the LED of the
radio-controlled socket should light up. When you
press the button again, the LED should go out.
Next plug the IP44 mains plug of the electrical
device you wish to connect into the earthed socket
of the timer.
The product may only be used indoors or in protected
outdoor areas (e.g. below eaves/roof overhang, in a
garage, etc.).
4. L
earn function of the radio-controlled socket
Press and hold the “LEARN” button for approx.
3seconds until the LED starts to ash. Then select
the desired channel by pressing the corresponding
“ON” button.
The LED on the radio-controlled wil lstop blinking
when it has successfully learnt the frequency.
If the learning is unsuccessful, the remote control
socket will leave learn mode after 15 seconds. In this
case, repeat the process. It is also possible to assign
achannel multiple times (multiple radio-controlled
sockets can respond to the same remote control
button).
If you wish to delete aprogrammed channel, rst
press the “LEARN” button until the LED ashes.
Press the “OFF” button for the channel to remove its
programming.

5Troubleshooting
5.1 Remote control does not work
Check whether the battery has been inserted with
the poles facing the proper directions. Youcan check
this by making surethat the label on the battery
corresponds to the polarity marked inside the battery
compartment.
If the control LED on the remote control does not
light up when you press abutton, even when the
battery has been inserted correctly,then it is possible
that the remote control has atechnical defect. If this
is the case, please contact our customer service team
or the retailer whereyou purchased this product.
5.2 The radio-controlled socket cannot be
switched on or off even though the remote
control is working properly
Repeat the steps above under “Learn function of the
radio-controlled socket” and, if necessary,contact
Hama technical support or the retailer whereyou
purchased this product.
6. Care and Maintenance
Only clean this product with aslightly damp, lint-free
cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.

entschieden haben!
Nehmen Sie sich Zeit und lesen Sie die folgenden
Anweisungen und Hinweise zunächst ganz durch.
Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung anschließend an einem sicheren Ort auf,umbei Bedarf
darin nachschlagen zu können. Sollten Sie das Gerät
veräußern, geben Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung an
den neuen Eigentümer weiter.

•Nicht hintereinander stecken
•Nicht abgedeckt betreiben
•Spannungsfrei nur bei gezogenem Stecker
•Nur mit geschlossenen Sicherheitsabdeckungen in
Betrieb nehmen bzw.betreiben
•Verwenden Sie die Funksteckdosen nicht, wenn offensichtliche Schäden am Gehäuse ersichtlich sind.
•Reparaturen nur von geschultem Personal oder
vom örtlichen Fachhändler durchführen lassen.
•Die Funksteckdose entspicht der Vorschrift IP 44,
das heißt, die Funksteckdose ist Spritzwasser geschützt und somit für den Außenbereich geeignet.
Es darf kein direktes Strahlwasser (z.B. aus einem
Gartenschlauch oder anderen Bewässerungssystemen) auf das Produkt gerichtet werden! Betreiben
Sie das Produkt entweder im Innenbereich oder
im geschützten Außenbereich, z.B. unter einem
Dachvorsprung oder in einer Garage. Setzen Sie
das Produkt niemals Niederschlägen aus! Andernfalls besteht die Gefahr eines lebensgefährlichen
elektrischen Schlages!
•Schließen Sie die Funksteckdose niemals an ein
Verlängerungskabel oder einen Adapter an,
sondern nur direkt an die Steckdose, da dies sonst
zu Überhitzung führen kann.
•Verwendung der Zeitschaltuhr nur in festinstallierten Wandsteckdosen.
•Betreiben Sie das Produkt nicht außerhalb
seiner in den technischen Daten angegebenen
Leistungsgrenzen.
•Gerät vor der Reinigung vom Netz trennen
•Betreiben Sie mit diesem Produkt keine motorgetriebenen Endgeräte oder Endgeräte, die ein
rotierendes Geräteteil oder Werkzeug antreiben. Es
besteht Verletzungsgefahr.
3. Anschluss und Inbetriebnahme
Hinweis
Zur Erweiterung von Hama-Funksteckdosensets.
Eine Funktion mit Funkfernbedienungen von
anderen Herstellern kann nicht garantiert werden.
Stecken Sie bitte die Funksteckdose in eine Schutzkontaktsteckdose für den Außenbereich.
Zum Testen der Funktion und zur manuellen
Bedienung ohne Fernbedienung betätigen Sie bitte
die Taste „On/Off“. Beim Betätigen der Taste sollte
die LED an der Funksteckdose aueuchten und beim
erneuten Betätigen der Taste wieder erlöschen.
Danach den Netzstecker (IP44) des zu schaltenden
Elektrogerätes in die Schutzkontaktsteckdose des
Timers stecken.
Das Produkt darf nur im Innenbereich oder im
geschützten Außenbereich verwendet werden (z.B.
unter einem Dachvorsprung, in einer Garage o.ä.).
4. Lernfunktion der Funksteckdose
Drücken und halten Sie die „LEARN”-Taste für ca.
3Sekunden bis die LED blinkt, wählen Sie nun auf
der Fernbedienung (nicht im Lieferumfang) den gewünschten Kanal durch drücken der entsprechenden
„ON”-Taste. Die LED der Funksteckdose hört auf zu
blinken, sobald erfolgreich angelernt wurde.
Sollte das Anlernen fehlgeschlagen sein, verlässt die
Funksteckdose nach 15 Sekunden den Lern-Modus. In
diesem Fall wiederholen Sie den Vorgang erneut. Eine
Mehrfachbelegung (mehrereFunksteckdosen reagieren
auf den gleichen Kanal der Fernbedienung) ist möglich.
Möchten Sie einen programmierten Kanal wieder
löschen, drücken Sie erst die Taste „LEARN“ bis
die LED blinkt. Durch Drücken der entsprechenden
„OFF“-Taste auf der Fernbedienung heben Sie die
Programmierung wieder auf.
