Safety Precautions
Please read these simple guidelines. Not following them may be dangerous or illegal.
Do not switch the phone on where Mobile Phone use is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger.
Do not place your phone and its accessories in containers with strong electromagnetic field.
Obey all traffic laws. Always keep your hands free, to operate the vehicle while driving. Your first consideration while driving should be road safety.
Hospitals or health care facilities may be using equipment that could be sensitive to external radio frequency energy. Follow all regulations and rules enforced.
Do not use the phone at a refueling station. Do not use near fuel or chemicals.

Follow all instructions. Wireless devices can cause interference in aircraft.
Keep the phone and all its parts, including accessories, out of the reach of children.
Do not use the phone while connected to the charger or with wet hand or bare feet.
Use only approved batteries and chargers. Disconnect the charger from the power source when it is not in use. Do not leave the battery connected to a charger for more than a week, since overcharging may shorten its life.
Please remove the battery only after the phone is switched off normally, otherwise it could cause unpredictable damage for the phone.
Only qualified personnel should service the phone. Faulty service may be dangerous and may invalidate any warranty applicable to the device.

Icon Description
Indicates signal strength. You have one or several missed call.

2 Getting Started

Install and charge the phone

3 Basic Functions

Switching On/Off

z In the power off status, long press the Power Key to switch on the phone. z In the power on status, long press the Power Key to switch off the phone.
Making phone call Making phone call using the keypad
1. In the standby mode, enter the phone number you want to dial, and press the Send Key to make the call. To delete a character to the left of the cursor, press <Clear>. To save the number, press <Save>.
2. To end the call, press the End Key.
Making phone call using contacts
1. In the standby mode, press the 5 way navigation key to access the Main menu.
2. Select the <Phone Book> to view the contacts list, and press Up/Down key to choose a
contact, or write the name of the contact.
3. Press the Send Key to make the phone call.
Making phone call using Last Dialed Number
1. In the standby mode, press the Send Key to access the Call Logs screen.

2. Scroll to the n umber or name you wish to redial, and press the Send Key.
Making phone call using Speed Dial
In standby mode, long press a number key to make phone call. See Phone Book for more information about configuring speed dial.
Making a Conference Call
Conference call is a network service that allows you to take part in a conference call with other participants.
1. Make a call to the first participant.
2. Enter the phone number of the second participant; or search a number from your Contacts, press <Search> and find out the number you want to call.
3. Press the Send Key, The first participant is put on hold.
4. When the second participant picks up, press the Send Key to connect the calls.
5. To end the conference call, press the End Key.
Notice: Whether conference calling can be enabled or not depends on whether the network
provider supplies this function and whether you have applied for such function.

Answering the call

1. To answer the call, press the Send Key or select <Answer>. Press <Mute> to silence the ringing tone before you answer the call.
2. To reject the call, press the End Key or select <Reject>.
Adjust the earpiece volume
Press the navigation key of your phone to adjust the volume of the earpiece, during a call. While adjusting the volume, a bar chart appears in the display indicating the volume level.
Answer a call with the keypad locked
To answer a call with the keypad locked, simply press the Send Key select <Answer>. During the call, all features function as normal. When you end or reject the call, the keypad is
automatically locked again.

Operations during a call

During a call press <Options> for the following options: Hold, New Call, Phone Book, Messages, Sound Recorder, Call History, Mute (On/Off), DTMF (On/Off).

Keypad lock The keypad lock can prevent you from accidental calls. If the keypad is locked, it unlocks

when you receive a call. After the call, the keypad is automatically locked again. When the keypad is locked, calls may be possible to the official emergency number programmed in your phone.
Press LSK then press [
] key to unlock the keypad.

Text input method

Your phone provides following text input methods:

5 Phone Book

Phonebook Display all the contacts. It will show the contacts list , Search for a contact and

press <Options> for the following: View, Send SMS, Send MMS, Dial, New Entry, Edit, Send vCard, Copy, Copy to Phone, Mass Operate, Delete.

New Entry

Add new contacts and choose storage: To SIM, To Phone.

Mass Operate

A large number of contacts can be Deleted, Copy to SIM/Phone in a single operation .

Show Style

Use the menu, you can set Show SIM+Phone Entries, Show SIM Entries, Show Phone Entries.

Storage/ Location

Use this feature to choose location of phone numbers in your SIM card or in Phone memory.

Copy All

Use this menu to copy the contacts from SIM and from Phone. 12

Delete

Use this menu to delete the contacts. The menu allows three options: From SIM, From Phone, One by One.

View Group

You can classify a number of contacts into one group in accordance with their relationship, for example: Family, Friend, VIP, Business, Others

Speed Dial

Use this menu to set Enable Speed Dial and Set Number. You can call the contacts of your most frequently dialed numbers quickly.

Cell Number

Use this feature to check your phone number, or to assign a new number.

Memory Status

Check the number of contacts you have stored in the phone memory and in the SIM card.

6 Multimedia
Use the menu to play audio files and videos you saved. The phone supports micro SD card of upto 2GB for external storage.
Audio Player
1. User can play audio files stored in the pho ne and in memory card.
2. Press <Option> to access different sub menus.
Video Player
1. User can play the recorded video files using this.
2. Press <Option> to access the following: Open, Forward, Rename, Delete, Delete All Files, Sort, Bluetooth Settings

Use the menu to manage the files you saved in the phone and memory card.

Press the Option function button to start the following setting

View Album

Press the <Option> to select location and set select other function.

Camera settings

Use this menu to adjust the following parameter: Shutter Sound, EV, Banding, Delay Time, Continuous shoot.

Image Settings

Use this menu to set Image size and Image quality.

White balance

Use this menu to set Auto, Daylight, Tungsten, Fluorescent, Cloud, Incandescence.

Scene Mode

Use this menu to set scene mode. You can choose Auto, Night.

Effect Settings

Use this menu to set effect settings. Y ou can choose Normal, Grayscale, Sepia, Sepia Green,

Add frame

Use this menu to add frame.

Storage

Use this menu to store the photos to the phone or memory card.

Setting Restore

Use this menu to revert to the default settings.

9 Messages

New Message

Use this menu to write new SMS and MMS.

Inbox

Use the menu to search and view the received messages.

SMS Booking

Use the menu to edit schedule SMS. The options include the switch on/off SMS booking, 16

Time, Recipient, Content, Repeat.

Outbox

Use the menu to view and search the messages you sent but failed due to some reason.

Sent

Use the menu to view and search the messages you sent.

Drafts

You can read the messages saved in Draft. Press <Options> to access the following options: Save and Send, Send,Edit, Delete, Delete all, Use Number, Use URL, Advanced.

Delete Folder

Use the menu to delete the folders. The options include Inbox, Outbox, Sent, Drafts, Delete All Folders.

Templates

Press <Ok> to select the template message you want to use. Press <Options> to Edit, Erase, Write Message.

Broadcast Message

Use the menu to set Receive Mode, Read Message, Languages, Channel Setting.

Voice Mail Server

The voice mailbox is a network service and you may need to subscribe to it. For more information and for your voice mailbox number, contact your service provider.

SMS Chat Room

Press <OK> to select the chat room you want to enter. Press <Option> to set Chat Room , Info, Start New.

Message Settings

Enter the menu to set SMS Settings, MMS Settings. Select the option you want to set to edit.

Memory Status

View the amount of memory currently in use for messages.

Alarm

Use this menu to set alarms. The alert type for a normal alarm corresponds to the call alert type settings.

Calendar

Enter this menu to set the calendar. Press<Option> to view further options i.e. View Tasks, Add Task, Jump To Date.

To Do List

Use the menu to add the task list and to set for Reminder, Meeting, Course, Date, Call.

Bluetooth

This menu option allows you to set the following functions: Power, Inquiry Audio Device, My Device, Active Device, Setting, About.

E-Book Reader

Use the menu to read the E-Books you received.

Stopwatch

Enter the menu to select the way you want to operate: Typical Stopwatch, nWay Stopwatch, Stopwatch Help.
Press <Start> to start the timer; press <Pause> to suspend the timer; press <Resume> to resume the counting. To reset the counter of nWay Stopwatch long press Resume.

Image Viewer

Enter the menu to view the images you saved. Press <Option> to select your choice. It includes View, Browse Style, Forward, Rename, Delete, Delete All Files, Sort, Storage.

Photo Editor

Use the menu to edit the photos you saved. Select the option you want to operate. It includes Photo Artist and Slide Show. Press <OK> to select the location.

Melody Compose

Use the menu to compose the melody yourself.

Sound Recorder

Use the menu to record the sound. Press<Option>to go to sub menus.

Calculator

Use this menu to perform basic arithmetic functions, such as Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division.

Unit Converter

Use the menu to convert the unit. It provides five options, such as Weight, Length, Volume, Velocity, Surface.

Currency Converter

Use the menu to convert the currency. Write the currency rate, then press <OK> to write the amount of local currency and press<OK>.

World Clock

Use the menu to set world clock you want to select.

SIM Application

The option is limited by the type of the SIM card you choose.

User Profile

Use the menu to set the profile you want. It includes General, Meeting, Outdoor, Indoor, Headset, Bluetooth.

Display Characteristics

Enter the menu to set the display you want. It includes Wallpaper, Themes, Standby Display, Screen Saver, Power On Display, Power Off Display, LCD Backlight, Show Owner Number.

System Setup

Use the menu to set the following functions: Time and Date, Set Home City, Language, Preferred Input Methods, Schedule Power On/Off, Auto Update of Date and Time, Flight Mode Setting.

Call setup

Use the menu to set the following functions: Call Divert, Call Time Reminder, Call Time Display, Auto Redial, Call Waiting, Call Barring, Caller ID.

Shortcuts Setting

Use the menu to set the shortcuts. It includes Dedicated Key and Shortcuts. The optio n of 22

Security Setup

Use the menu to set the security for the phone, such as PIN Setting, Phone Lock, Auto Keypad Lock, Change Password.

Network Setup

Use the menu to set the network. It contains Network Selection, Preferred Net works, GPRS Connection.

Data Account

Use the menu to set the data account. It contains GSM Data, GPRS.

Restore Factory Settings

Use this menu to reset the phone’s settings to the original factory settings.

Sound Effect

Use the menu to set different sound effects. Press<Ok> to select the option you want. It includes Normal, Bass, Dance, Classical, Treble, Party, Pop, Rock, Setting Restore.

Firewall Settings

Use this menu to block or allow some numbers for incoming calls or messages. It contains three options: SMS Firewall, Call Firewall, Private Firewall.
12 Fun and Games
Your phone contains features to help organize your life, including Video Recorder, Games, WAP. Games include: Copter, Puzzle, and Dance.
13 Call history
Call history stores information about the Missed calls, Received calls, Dialed calls, Delete Call Log, Call Time, SMS Counter, GPRS Counter.

14 Care And Maintenace
