Safety precautions
The product should be tightly fixed to avoid drop damages and even fire.
Do not locate the product close to water or oil, which may cause fire hazards.
Do not use damaged or worn electric plugs, and keep electric cord away from heat sources to avoid electric shocks or fire hazards.
To avoid fire hazards, do not use this product under direct sunlight or closely to heat sources.
Unplug the power supply and antenna of the product when there is a rainstorm, especially thunderstorm.
Do not connect excessive sockets in parallel or share the same socket by multiple plugs to avoid fire hazards.
The product must be placed on a solid and stable surface to avoid collapse.
Keep the product away from a transformer or heat source to avoid fire hazards.

Disconnect the product from power supply and contact authorized after-sales service if abnormal sound is heard in the product.

Always make sure that the television is well plugged as poor electric connection might cause fire.
Unplug the television, use soft fabric, never chemicals, if you are going to make cleaning of the product. Make sure that no water drops in the product.

Never touch the plug when your hand is wet as this might cause electric shocks.
When antenna is used, measures should be taken to prevent water from flowing down along the cable into the television.

Remote controller
Battery loading
1.Slide open the cover of the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller.
2.Load two 5# alkaline batteries in the compartment. (plus and minus poles to respective mark)

Precautions
Make sure that there is no obstacle between the remote controller and television set.
Keep the remote controller away from heat source or humid area to ensure effective performance of the remote controller.
As strong light may interfere the signals, change your position to operate the remote controller if the television cannot be turned on or off as you expect.
Make sure that two 5# 1.5V alkaline batteries are loaded. The batteries must be of the same type. The batteries must be located properly. The batteries are not rechargeable.

Suspend mode (ON/OFF)
If Suspend Mode is activated, under TV/AV1/AV2/ S-Video/YUV/D-SUB/DVI/USB status, 5 minutes later after no signals are input, the television will enter standby status automatically.

1.Switch on power supply (indicator in red)

4.Disconnect the power supply or unplug the television if it is intended to completely cease the television performance.

2.Skip If current program number is to be cleared, press VOL-/+ button to set Skip mode.
3.Program lock If current program number is to be locked, press VOL-/+ button to set on Prog. Lock.
4. Sound system If current program sound is to be changed, press VOL-/+ button and then the sound system will change in sequence of Auto D/K B/G M I L. Note: When channels are being scanned, sound system will be automatically identified and set according to television signals. If the sound system is changed by manual operation, the correct sound might not be broadcast.
5. Fine tune If there is abnormal picture or sound in individual program, press VOL-/+ button to make fine tune until satisfactory picture and sound are achieved. After Fine Tune is activated, AFC will be active for the program, changing the program number into yellow color. If green color is desired for the program number, manually scan the same program.

How to select program
1.Select desired program
Select buttons in sequence
Press CH+/- button for program option. (Note: If Skip mode is activated, the program will not appear.) Select buttons directly If program number 1~9 is selected, press digit 1~9 directly. If two-digit or 3-digit programs are selected, press -/--/--- button twice or trice. When icon -­or --- appears on the screen, press digit 0~9 program numbers.
If selected channel program is set at Lock on mode and no password has been entered after initiation of the television, the screen will indicate require password entry. If wrong password is entered, channel selection will fail and previous program will still stay on the screen. The program locking password can be modified in the preset menu and previous password will be required.

2. Press VOL+/- button to change sound volume.
3. Press Mute button to silence television sound. If the same button is pressed again, the sound will resumed.
4. If current program number, color system and sound system are to be displayed on the screen, press Display button, and all the related information will appear at up right corner of the screen. If the Display button is pressed again, the displayed information will disappear.
5. Sound mode If the SSM button is pressed again, the sound of programs will change in following sequence: Standard News User Music Standard It is possible for users to select desired sound mode for different television programs.

8.NICAM Press of the I/II button will result in fast swap of NICAM function (bilingual or stereo) of current program. Under AV mode, single tune (R or L) and stereo channel can be selected.

10.Fav. Folder a)Press the shortcut key of Fav. folder until icon is on display, then current program will be added to the folder. b)Press the shortcut key to open FAV folder. c)Press CH+/- button for selection of programs in FAV folder. Then press VOL+ button to confirm the program.

Picture quality setup
Picture quality can be adjusted in any channel. The picture quality on the screen can be adjusted as follows:

4. Repeat step 2 and 3 until satisfactory picture quality is achieved. 8 seconds after the latest operation, the menu disappears from the screen automatically. The menu exit can also be realized by manual operation.

Note:
1. Select Balance to balance right and left sound channels of the television. The intermediate value is 0. When indication value of Balance increases toward 50, sound of the right and left speaker becomes stronger and weaker, respectively. When indication value of Balance decreases toward -50, sound of the right and left speaker becomes weaker and stronger, respectively.
2. The AAA Windows in advanced menu tracks picture contrast and color to improve the quality of picture in terms of brightness and sharpness.
3. The advanced menu is displayed on the screen in various scales for user to select.

2. Press VOL+ button on the remote controller to enter the menu of system setup.

4. Press VOL+/- to adjust values level.

Repeat step 3 and 4 to select the language either Chinese or English.

Repeat step 3 and 4 to set on or off Suspend Mode. 5 minutes after the Suspend Mode is set, the system will enter an energy efficiency status (standby mode).
Background ON/OFF
Repeat step 3 and 4 to select Background ON/OFF when no signal appears on the screen.
OSD Position
Repeat step 3 and 4 to locate OSD freely on the screen for the most desirable position, including top left , top center , top right , center left , center, center right , bottom left , bottom center and bottom right. Note: OSD Position can only be selected when OSD Stretch is not intended.
OSD Transparency
Repeat step 3 and 4 to select semi transparency and opaque background of OSD.
OSD Stretch
Repeat step 3 and 4 for option of OSD Stretch on or off.

Color system option
In TV/AV1/AV2/Svideo mode, repeat step 3 and 4 to set the color system of the front interface among the options of automatic, PAL, PAL60, NTSC3.58, NTSC4.43 and SECAM. Automatic mode is usually set as default.

Position and phase adjust
In YUV and D-SUB input mode, H-Position, Phase and Scope of pictures can be adjusted to eliminate transverse line interference and decentered picture as follows: When YUV/D-SUB input mode is set.
1. Press Menu button on the remote controller and CH+/- for option of picture position adjust. The menu display is as follows:

3. Press CH+/- button for desired adjust parameter option.
4. Press VOL+/- for desired adjust parameter option until satisfactory value is achieved. When VGA signals are received, the automatic mode is used for parameter adjustment. (excluding HDTV 1080P, 1080i and 720P series)

2. Before activating timer setup, the clock must be correctly calibrated or otherwise the timer cannot be adjusted. If current time setting is cancelled, all previously set performance of the timer will also be inactivated. Note: The timer setup will not affect setup of the Sleep button and vice versa.
3. Time setup: Press VOL+ button to set minute and VOL- to set hour.
4. Program setup: Press VOL-/+ button for program number up and down. It is also possible to press digit buttons for program number option.
Indication will appear on the screen 10 seconds prior to expiry of set time. Suppose off-time is set, and indication is as follows:

Stream media playing system
The USB port of some models receivers is connected with the storage device (Note 1) at USB interface for play of JPEG picture files, MP3 music files and some format movie files. If TV/AV button of television and remote controller is pressed, following menu will appear on the screen:

If Right button is pressed, all media files of relative formats under current partition and root directory, and all directory names (as shown in the figure below) of relative files included will be displayed. Select correct directory name from the information display window. If the Right button is pressed again, the sub directory will be entered and all media files under this directory will be displayed. If Left button is kept pressed, the directory of next higher level or main function option mode will be entered. After you move the cursor to designate your desired files in the table with the Up, Down, Prev. or Next buttons, press Play button to play the selected files. 4.Many movie files use suffix of avi and mpg. However, many kinds of format are used for internal files. This television can only play some avi and mpg files of this format. Those files with suffix of dat may not be movie files, but data files used by computers, and cannot be played for movies.
5.Some movie files do not support time display. Press of Swap might not display play time.
6.Some MP3 files partially include or do not include the information of the title, singer and edition.
7.External card reader supports most digital cards available in the market. Readable digital cards are classified according to the property of card readers , standard mobile hard disks can be connected (working voltage 5.0V, working current not over 500mA). In the playing process, do not unplug storage medium or otherwise the television will be halted, files stored in medium or even USB device damaged. Some time the television operation may be halted due to excessive rate of information code errors. In such case, restart the system. As there are many nonstandard USB mobile devices in the market. If this kind of USB mobile devices are used in the stream media play system, the problem of identification failure might occur. The same problem may also happen with computers, not fault of televisions.
8.It is suggested that the external devices with USB2.0 interface be used to improve velocity of information reading and continuity of information play.

Connection of external AV devices
Some external signal sources, including VCR, VCD, DVD and PC, can be connected to the television.
Antenna input
1. Link radio frequency output of VCR to the radio frequency input on rear side of the LCD television.
2. Link the antenna to the antenna input of VCR.
3. Press TV/AV button for option of television signal mode.
4. Press Play button on VCR for option of television programs.

AV input
1. Link audio output on VCD to AUDIO IN and VIDEO IN ports on the television.

If S terminal is used as signal input source, the picture quality will be better than that by AV input.

Troubleshooting
Determine and try to solve the problems of your television by yourself before applying for technical assistance by authorized after-sales service. Do not leave the television with static picture in an extended period as it may result in residual image on your television screen. If so happens, set your television for dynamic operation and normal status will be gained within the following 12 hours.
