Important Safeguards
Warning! When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always

• To protect against electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse in water or other
liquids. Do not use near water or place near a window where rain may enter and
come in contact with the unit.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
children, or by disabled persons.
• DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, if motor fan fails to
rotate, after the appliance malfunctions, or if it has been dropped or damaged in
any manner.
• DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this
unit. Doing so will void your warranty. Return the appliance to the
manufacturer for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
• DO NOT operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
• Use appliance only for its intended household use as described in this
manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer, such as
commercial or industrial use, may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to
persons.
• DO NOT use outdoors.
• Always unplug the fan before assembly or disassembly, when moving from one
location to another, before cleaning, or whenever the fan is not in use.
• To disconnect, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull on the cord.
• Always use on a dry, level surface.
• Avoid contact with moving parts. DO NOT operate without fan grills properly in
place.
• DO NOT operate without fan guards properly locked.
• Do NOT use this fan with an extension cord.
• Close supervision is necessary when this unit is used by or near children.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTION
WARNING: This fan is equipped with a polarized alternating current line plug (one
blade is wider than the other). This plug fits into the power outlet only one way. This
is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still fails to fit, contact an electrician to replace the obsolete
outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

ASSEMBLY OF FAN PEDESTAL ONTO FAN BASE
1. Insert the pedestal into the base and press the pedestal firmly into position.
2. On underside of the base firmly tighten provided screws to secure the
pedestal and base permanently together.
ASSEMBLY OF BLADE OF GRILLES
1. Unscrew the spinner clockwise and the nut counter-clockwise then remove
both of them with the plastic sleeve around motor shaft.
2. Set the rear grille in the proper position with handle up.
3. Screw on plastic nut tightly to attach grille.
4. Discard sleeve on shaft.
5. Slide the blade onto the shaft until it reaches the retaining pin.
6. Screw spinner onto motor shaft counter-clockwise.
7. Mount the front grille with the trademark placed in the proper direction and
attach both grilles together with clips.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. This fan is for HOUSEHOLD USE and should be plugged into AC (120VAC
50/60Hz) electrical wall outlet.
2. To make the fan head oscillate, push down the knob on the motor housing.
3. To stop the fan head from oscillating, pull the clutch knob on the motor
housing.
4. To adjust vertical angle, tilt fan head up or down as desired.
5. Fan speed is controlled by reversing the rotary switch.

GUIDE TO BETTER FAN MAINTENANCE
1. Use in a dry place, free of excessive humidity and water.
2. DO NOT use gasoline, thinner or other chemicals to clean fan.
3. UNPLUG fan before cleaning and disassembly. Wipe away dirt with a clean
cloth. Plastic parts should be cleaned with mild soap and a damp cloth.
Remove soap film thoroughly with a clean cloth.
CAUTION: DO NOT immerse in water. DO NOT allow water or any other liquid
to get into unit.
4. To disassemble each part, reverse the order of assembly 1 - 7.
5. Before putting the fan in original box, clean thoroughly, cover with plastic
bag and store in a dry place

This item is warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the
original date of purchase under normal household use. Within the warranty period, we will replace the product.
This warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser, and excludes any damage to the product resulting

Cut the power cord off the product. (MAKE SURE THAT THE PRODUCT IS REMOVED FROM THE POWER
OUTLET.) Remove the rating tag/label from the back or bottom of the product. Return both items to the
closest return center with a check for $5.99 to cover shipping and handling. Please be sure to include your
return address. Allow 10-15 working days for shipment.
