Congratulations on purchasing the HAAN® TS-30 QuickPro™ Portable Steamer & Sanitizer. Lightweight and compact, the QuickPro™ delivers instant steam to quickly smooth away wrinkles with dry cleaner results before you head out the door.

The sleek, slim QuickPro™ ﬁts into a suitcase to keep up with the fast-paced traveler, too. And with 212°F steam that kills up to 99.9% of E.coli, Salmonella and other household germs, the QuickPro™ is also great for sanitizing or deodorizing pillows and bedding – at home or in hotels.

Delivering approximately 5 minutes of steaming time, the QuickPro™ features a special “continuous steam” button that ensures a steady flow of steam to precisely and quickly steam away wrinkles. Multi-directional design lets you steam vertically or horizontally. And a snap-on the lint remover and nap brush attachment let you touch-up jackets and blouses and tidy Portable-weary clothes.

Important Safety Information

IMPORTANT

Be sure to read ALL instructions and warnings before using your Portable Steamer & Sanitizer.

WARNINg

Risk of electrical shock - be sure to read and follow all instructions and warnings. This appliance was factory set to operate at 120 watts.

CAUTION

The HAAN® QuickPro™emits steam at 212˚F to sanitize the area of use. This means that the steam plate gets very hot during use. Burns could occur from touching the hot metal pate, hot water or steam. Care should be taken when using this appliance or when emptying the reservoir as the water may be hot. DO NOT touch the plate during use and do not use the product except in the approved manner as outlined in this manual.

INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY

Basic precautions should be observed when using an electrical appliance, including the following:

1. Do not direct steam at people, animals or at electrical outlets. Do

not use the Portable Steamer & Sanitizer on garments while they are being worn.

2. Do not expose to rain or use outdoors. Store indoors.

3. Never leave your Portable Steamer & Sanitizer in one spot on any surface for any period of time. During use, or while heating or cooling down, DO NOT rest the unit on the steam plate. You can turn the appliance over on its side on a ﬁrm, ﬂat, heat-resistant surface, but it is the manufacturer’s recommendation to place it on the provided Metal Resting Tray whenever not holding the unit.

4. Always disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet when ﬁlling or emptying the reservoir with water. Unplug it from outlet when not in use and before conducting maintenance or troubleshooting.

5. Do not leave Portable Steamer & Sanitizer unattended while plugged or while it is still hot.

6. Do not leave the Portable Steamer & Sanitizer connected to an electrical outlet when not in use.

7. Do not service Portable Steamer & Sanitizer when it is plugged in.

8. Do not use with damaged cord or plug.

9. Do not use Portable Steamer & Sanitizer if it has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors or dropped into water. Call Customer Care for instructions.

10.Do not handle Portable Steamer & Sanitizer with wet hands.

11.Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close door on cord, bend the cord excessively, pull cord around sharp corners, place heavy objects on it or expose cord to heated surfaces. If the power cord has become knotted and/or worn, contact the service center for a replacement power cord.

12.Do not unplug by pulling on cord. Unplug by grasping the plug, not the cord.

13. Do not immerse in water or any other liquids.

IMPORTANT

To reduce the risk of electric shock, the HAAN® QuickPro has a polarized 2-blade attachment plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one (1) way. If the plug does not fit in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, DO NOT force the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. DO

NOT modify the plug in any way. Improper connection can result in electrical shock.

14. Do not use appliance in an enclosed space ﬁlled with vapor given off by oil-based paint thinner, some moth-prooﬁng substances, ﬂammable dust or other explosive or toxic vapors.

15. Do not use on leather, wax-polished furniture or ﬂoors, synthetic fabrics, velvet or other delicate, steam-sensitive materials.

16. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Pay close attention when used near children, pets or plants. Do not leave your Portable Steamer and Sanitizer unattended while plugged in.

18. Do not use for any purpose other than described in this User Manual. Use the product only for its intended use and only as described in this manual.

19. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments – use of attachments not provided or sold by HAAN electric shock or injury.

20. Never put any aromatic oils or perfumes, chemicals, alcohol or detergent products into the Portable Steamer and Sanitizer except those approved by HAAN®. Non-approved additives may damage the unit or make it unsafe for use.

21. Do not put any foreign objects into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked.

22. If the circuit breaker activates while using the steam function, discontinue product use immediately and contact the Customer Care Center. (Beware of the risk of electrical shock.) To avoid circuit overload, do not operate a high wattage appliance on the same circuit.

23. Do not allow the product to be disassembled and/or modiﬁed by anyone other than an authorized service technician. (Doing so can result in ﬁre and/or electrical shock.)

24. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a 15-amp cord should be used. Cords rated at less may overheat. Care should be taken so that the cord cannot be pulled or tripped over.
