General Information
This section contains important information on safe and efficient operation. Please read this information before
using the device. Ignorance of the following notices may lead to violations of the law.
• Before using the device, please make sure you have fully charged the battery.
• Do NOT remove the battery from the device during charging.
• Before inserting SIM card into the device, make sure that the device is switched off.
• Do NOT attempt to dissemble the device on your own. This should be done by an authorized person.
• Use the device in accordance to instructions when in public facilities.
• In some countries, it is a violation against the law to record phone conversations. Always ask permission of
the other party when you are going to record a conversation.
• To protect your ears, turn down the volume before you use stereo headsets or other audio devices.
• To avoid damagi ng the touch screen and the device, do NOT apply excessive pressure on them, and
remove the device from your pants’ pocket before you sit down. It is also recommended that you only use
the stylus or your finger to interact with the touch screen. It is not covered by the warranty that you crack the
touch screen because of the improper usage.
• When you use the device for a long time, such as talking on the phone, browsing online, or charging the

1.2 Installing or uninstalling the
SIM Card, Battery, and Memory
Card
To remove the back cover
1. Please turn over your phone with the back
cover facing up.
2. Please remove the back cover from the top.
3. Pull the back cover with your fingertip and
remove it.
SIM card
The SIM card contains your phone number,
memory storage, and details of network service.
To install the SIM card
Make sure the gold contacts are facing down and
the cut-off corner is facing toward the SIM card
slot. There are two slots for SIM cards.Upper slot
is for SIM2, and SIM1 slot is on the underside.

To remove the SIM card
1. First, remove battery.
2. Use your finger to slide the SIM card out of card
slot.
Battery
Your phone comes with a rechargeable battery.
Battery life varies depending on the network, used
applications, and the type of connections attached
to your phone.
To install the battery
Make sure the contact of the battery is close to
connectors in the battery slot.
To remove the battery
Use your fingertip to lift the battery, then remove
it.
NOTE:
•To ensure battery performance and avoid risk
from fire
• Use only the original battery designated for
the phone.
• Do not store the battery in temperature lower
than -10ºC or higher than 45ºC
To replace the back cover
1. Please insert the hook on the bottom of back
cover into the slot.
2. Then, press four points of back cover fully until
hear clicks.
Memory card
You may need a microSD card to store photos,
music, videos and other data.
To install the memory card
1. Insert the memory card with the gold contact
facing down.
2. Push the memory card until it clicks into slot.

To remove the memory card
1. For safe removal, tap Application Drawer >
Settings > Storage > Unmount SD card.
2. Push the memory card to eject it from the slot.
1.3 Charging the Battery
When you take your phone out of box for the first
time, the battery isn’t at full of power. Please
charge the battery fully before using.
1. Connect the USB cable to the AC adapter, and
then, connect to the device via the USB cable.
2. Plug the AC adapter to a socket start to charge.
NOTE:
• The battery can also be charged when you
connect your phone to the computer.
• To ensure safety, do not remove the battery
from the phone while the AC adapter is
connected or while it is being charged.
1.4 Turning the Phone On or Off
After installing the SIM card and charging the
battery, you are now ready to turn your phone on.
To turn on your phone
Press and hold the power button until the phone
shortly vibrates.
To turn off your phone
1. Press and hold the power button for several
seconds.
2. A pop-up window appears, then tap Power off.
3. Select OK to confirm.

To set your phone to the sleep mode
To set your phone to the sleep mode, press the
power button briefly. It will turn the display off. To
turn the display on, press the power button briefly
again.

There are four functions you may use when you
just turning it on or coming back from sleep mode.

1.7 Initial Settings
Before initialing your device, please remember to
insert your SIM card first. When turn on your
phone at the first time or reset your phone, you
need to follow the steps as below:

2. Tap the Android Robot icon to begin. In this
step, you can tap “Emergency dial” to make an
emergency call, or tap “Change language” to
change the default language.
3. In the screen of Set up your Google Account,
you can tap “Create” to create a new account,
tap “Sign in” to sign in the Google account, or
tap “Skip” to do it later.
4. In the screen of Use Google location, you can
allow or disallow Google’s location service to
collect anonymous location data. You c an also
allow or disallow Google to use My Location for
Google search results and other Google
services. Then, tap “Next” to finish the whole
initial settings.
NOTE:
Some applications and functions needed to
connect to the Internet such as location-based
services and the automatic synchronization of
your online accounts may incur the fees of the
connection from your service provider. You
may enable or disable the Internet later.
1.8 Using Headset
For hands-free conversation or listening to music,
plug a headset into the headset jack.
NOTE:
• When using a headset, your ability to hear
outside sounds may be limited. Do not use
the headset if it will endanger you.
• Do not set the volume to its maximum with a
headset as it may damage your hearing.

1.9 Adjusting the Volume
To adjust the volume of ringtone, media, and
alarm
1. Tap Application Drawer > Settings > Sound >
volume.
2. Slide the volume bar to adjust each volume. Do
as the following:
a. Drag the slider towards the left to decrease
the volume, or drag the slider towards the
right to increase the volume. Tap OK to save

b. Tap Application Drawer > Settings > Sound
> Silent mode to set the phone to the silent
mode.
NOTE:
When the phone is set to the silent mode, all
sounds are turned off except media and alarm.
1.10 Contacts
“Contacts” is your phonebook that lets you store
names, phone numbers, e-mail addresses and
other information. Contacts are stored in the
phone memory.
Adding a Contact
1. Tap Application Drawer > Contacts.
2. Tap Menu > New contact, and then, the new
contact screen appears.
3. Tap each field to fill out the contact information.
4. Tap ”Done” to save.
NOTE:
To add picture, tap Contact icon, and then you
could choose “take photo” or “select photo
from Gallery”.
Searching for Contacts
On Contacts tab, do any of the following to easily
search for contacts:
• Tap Menu > Search. Type the first few letters of
the contact to search. The list is filtered when
typing.
• Tap a letter in the Letter Index to view the
contacts whose initial letter is the letter you
select. For example, if you want to view the
contacts whose initial letter is M, tap M in the
letter Index. When finish searching, you could
tap to go back to the contacts.

• If you want to categorize the contacts, tap Menu
> Display options to set up the category.
Manage Accounts
1. Tap Application Drawer > Contacts.
2. Tap Menu > Accounts.
3. You could mark Background data. If so,
Applications can sync, send, and receive data
at anytime.
4. Or mark Auto-sync. If so, Applications sync
data automatically.
Importing / Export Contacts
Export Contacts to phone
1. Tap Application Drawer > Contacts.
2. On Contacts tab, tap Menu > Import/Export >
SIM Manager.
3. Tap Menu > Export to phone. Select contacts
you want, or tap Select all. Then tap Export.
Import Contacts to SIM card.
1. Tap Application Drawer > Contacts.
2. On Contacts tab, tap Menu > Import/Export >
SIM Manager.
3. Tap Menu > Import to SIM. You can select
SIM1 or SIM2 (If SIM card inserted). Then tap
OK.
4. Select contacts you want, or tap Select All.
Then tap Import.
Import Contacts from SD card
1. Tap Application Drawer > Contacts.

Favorite Contacts
You can add the most frequently called contacts
to the favorite contact list which helps you to find
contacts quickly and easily.
Add to Favorites
1. First of all, you have to make sure that the
contact you want to add to Favorites is stored in
the device.
2. Tap Application Drawer > Contacts.
3. On Contacts tab, tap and hold the desired
contact.
4. The submenu appears, and then, tap Add to
favorites.
5. When you tap the contact, you wil l find a golden
star next to the contact name. It means the
contact is in the favorite list.

SIM Manager
SIM Manager is a SIM card management tool.
If you don't have any contacts stored in your
phone, you can export SIM card contacts to your
device.
1. Tap Application Drawer > SIM Manager.
2. Tap and hold the desired contact, then pop-up
a submenu. Select what you want in the
submenu.
1.11 The Home Screen
On Home screen, you can quickly access
common features and view notifications of missed
calls, received messages, battery, and the status
of the connection.

to the right side or from the right side to the left

Using Widgets
You may add and customize widgets on the home
screen as you like.
To add widgets
1. Long press any places on the home screens.
There is a menu will pop up.
2. Tap “Widgets”. A list of all available widgets will
be displayed. Select the widget you want for the
home Screen.
To delete widgets
1. Tap and hold a widget icon. The icon will
enlarge and a Trash Can Icon will appear at
the bottom of Home Screen.
2. Drag the widget icon to the Trash Can Icon to
delete it.
Folders
You can also add / delete folders to your Home
screen.
1. On Hom e Screen, tap Menu > Add > Folders.
2. Tap to select the desired folder you want to
appear on Home Screen.
3. Tap and hold the desired fol der ,the icon
enlarges, and the Trash Can Icon appears
at the bottom of the Home Screen. Drag the
folder icon to the Trash Can Icon to delete it.
Setting the wallpaper
Customize wallpaper of your Home Screen with
default wallpaper or with pictures in your phone.

2.1 Voice Calls
Making a call
To make a call from the Phone screen
1. Go to the Phone screen.
2. Use the keypad to input phone number.
3. You may select SIM1 or SIM2 (If
SIM2 inserted) to make a phone call.
NOTE:
Tap to delete a number. Tap and hold
to erase entire numbers.
To make a call from Contacts
1. Tap Application Drawer > Contacts.
2. Tap a contact.
3. Tap “Call mobile”, “Call work”, or “Call home”.
4. You may select SIM1 or SIM2 (If
SIM2 inserted) to make the phone call.
To make emergency calls
You have to unl ock your device before making an
emergency call.
Enter the international emergency number 112,
and tap or to dial.
To make international calls
1. Go to the Phone screen.
2. Tap and hold 0 until the “+” is displayed which
is international prefix code.
3. Enter the country code, area code, and phone
number.
4. You may select SIM1 or SIM2 (If
SIM2 inserted) to make a phone call.
Answering a call
When there is an incoming call:
• The phone will ring if the ring volume is turned
on.
• A notification message will appear on the
screen.
To accept or reject an incoming call
• To accept a call, slide the Talk icon on the
screen.
• To reject a call, slide the End icon on the screen.
To put a call on hold
If you are having a call conversation and there is
another incoming call, slide the Talk icon to put

the first call on hold and answer the second call.
To switch between calls
If you are having a call conversation, and there is
the other incoming call, slide the Talk icon to put
the first call on hold and answer the second call.
Tap Swap to switch between calls.
To set up a conference call
1. When you are already having a call
conversation, tap Add call to enter another
phone number then tap call key.
2. When someone answering your phone, tap
Merge calls to set up the conference call.
If you are having a call conversation, and there is
the other incoming call, you can tap Merge calls to
set up the conference calls also.
NOTE:
Conference call is a network service. Check
with your network carrier for this function.
To manage other voice call features
• Tap Speaker to activate speakerphone, or tap
Speaker again to cancel it.
• Tap Mute to mute microphone, or tap Mute again
to un-mute it.
Ending a call
Tap End icon to end a call.
2.2 Using On-Screen Keyboard
On-screen keyboard appears in portrait mode
when an application requires text input, such as
messaging and writing e-mails. The keyboard
input method is activated by the default settings.

• Use the keys on the on-screen keyboard.
• Tap the keys to enter the characters.
Setting the Input Method
Your phone supports several text input methods,
and you could select which one you prefer.

3. Email & Messaging
Use Messaging to access text and MMS
messages. Use Email to send and receive e-mail
messages via your Internet e-mail accounts.
3.1 Creating and sending a text
message
Your phone offers several ways to create and
send a new text message.
From Messaging screen
1. Tap Application Drawer > Messaging.
2. Tap New message.
3. In the “To” field, enter the recipient’s phone
number.
4. Type your message in the “Type to compose”
field.
5. Tap Send to send your message. You may
select SIM1 or SIM2 (If SIM2 inserted).
From Contacts
1. Tap Application Drawer > Contacts.
2. Tap a contact to display the contact
inform ation.
3. Tap the Text Icon .
4. Compose your message.
5. Tap Send to send your message. You may
select SIM1 or SIM2 (If SIM2 inserted).
From Call log
1. Tap Application Drawer > Contacts.
2. Tap the Call log tab to view all call history.
3. Tap a call from the Call log.

NOTE:
If you exit Messaging before sending, unsent
message will be saved as a draft

Receiving and Managing Messages
When you send and receive messages from a
contact, these messages are grouped as a
message thread. A message thread looks like an
exchanged conversation.
To reply to a text message
1. Tap Application Drawer > Messaging.
2. Tap a contact sends message to you.
3. Tap “Type to compose” to enter your message.
4. Tap Send to send your message. You can
select SIM1 or SIM2 (If SIM2 inserted).
To forward a text message
1. Tap Application Drawer > Messaging.
2. Tap the contact sends message to you to view
a message thread.
3. Tap and hold a message to display the
message options.
4. Tap Forward.
5. In the “To” field, enter the recipient’s phone
number.
6. Tap Send to send your message. You can
select SIM1 or SIM2 (If SIM2 inserted).
To delete all messages
1. Tap Application Drawer > Messaging.
2. Tap Menu > Delete threads.
3. Tap Delete to delete all messages.
To delete a message within a thread
1. Tap Application Drawer > Messaging.

To copy a message text
You can use this function to copy the text from a
message to a new message you are composing.
1. Tap Application Drawer > Messaging.

3. Tap and hold a message to display the
message options.
4. Tap Copy message text.
5. Go to New Message.
6. Tap and hold “Type to compose”.
7. Tap Paste to paste the copied texts to your new
message.
8. Tap Send to send your message. You can
select SIM1 or SIM2 (If SIM2 inserted).
3.2 Multimedia Message
A Multimedia message or MMS can contain
letters, an image, an audio, or a video file.
Creating and sending an MMS message
Your phone offers several ways to create and
send a MMS message.
From the Messaging screen
1. Tap Application Drawer > Messaging.
2. Tap New Message.
3. Tap Menu > Add subject. The message
converts to a MMS message automatically.
4. In the “To” field, enter the recipient’s phone
number.
5. Enter the Subject.
6. To insert a picture or video file, tap Menu >
Attach.
7. To insert text, tap “Type to compose”, and
then, enter your message with the on-screen
keyboard.
8. Tap Send MMS to send your message.
From Contacts
1. Tap Application Drawer > Contacts.
2. Tap a contact.
3. Tap the Text Icon . The message window is
displayed.
4. Tap Menu > Add subject to convert to MMS
message.
5. Tap Subject to enter the subject.
6. To insert a picture or video file, tap Menu >
Attach.
7. To insert text, tap “Type to compose”, and then
enter your message with the on-screen
keyboard.
8. Tap Send MMS to send your message.
From the Call log
1. Tap Application Drawer > Contacts.
2. Tap a call in the list of Call log tab.
3. Tap Send text message.
4. Tap Menu > Add subject to convert to MMS
message.
5. Tap Subject to enter the subject.
6. To insert a picture or video file, tap Menu >
Attach.
7. To insert text, tap “Type to compose”, and then
enter your message with the on-screen
keyboard.
8. Tap Send MMS to send your message.
3.3 Voice Message
Your phone can send Voice message.
To create a voice message
1. Tap Application Drawer > Messaging.
2. Tap New Message.

4. Tap to record an audio file.
5. Tap to stop recording.
6. Tap to listen to your recording.
7. Tap Use this recording to proceed, or tap
Discard to return to the compose message
screen.

Replace to replace the file, or tap Remove to
delete your recording from the MMS message.
9. Enter the mobile phone number in the “To”
field.
10. To insert text, tap “Type to compose”, and
then enter your message with the on-screen
keyboard.
11. Tap Send MMS to send your message.
3.4 E-mail Accounts
Your phone can send and receive e-mails just as
you do with a computer.
Setting up an Internet e-mail account
1. Tap Application Drawer > Email.
2. Enter your E-mail address and Password. Tap
Next.
3. The phone will retrieve the e-mail settings
automatically.
• If the e-mail settings are pre-configured, the
E-mail setup wizard displays a successful
message.
• If the e-mail settings are not found, Manual
setup is in process automatically. You can
follow the instructions to complete the settings.
4. Enter Account name and Your Name, and then,
tap Done.
NOTE:
The Account name is the name shown on the
Email screen.
To open Email
Tap Application Drawer > Email to open your
e-mail.
To select an account
1. Tap Application Drawer > Email.
2. Tap Menu > Accounts to view all e-mail
accounts. If you set up two more e-mail
accounts in the beginning, Account List will
appear directly after you tap Application Drawer
> Email.
3. Tap the e-mail account you want to access.
To configure e-mail settings
1. On your accounts screen, tap to select an
e-mail account.
2. Tap Menu > Account settings to adjust the
settings of your e-mail accounts.
3.5 Using E-mail
Composing and sending an E-mail
1. Tap Application Drawer > Email, and then,
tap an e-m ail account.
2. Tap Menu > Compose.
3. In the “To” field, enter the recipient’s e-mail
address.
4. Enter the Subject.
5. Compose your e-mail.
6. Tap Send to send your e-mail.
Sending an E-mail from Contacts
You can send an e-mail to a contact with an
e-mail address stored in Contacts.

3. Tap Email home. Tap Email or tap Compose in
the submenu (You need to create or log in
Gmail).
4. Enter the Subject and compose your e-mail.

Adding attachments to an e-mail message
Before sending your message, tap Menu > Add
attachment, and then, choose an attachment you
want to attach.
Receiving e-mails
E-mails are received in your Inbox automatically
when your phone connects to wireless networks.
Reading and replying to e-mails
The Inbox displays the e-mail headers. When you
open the e-mail, it shows only a part of the
message, unless it is a very short message.
Download the e-mail to view the complete
content.
To reply or forward an e-mail
1. Open an e-mail.
2. Do any of the following:
• Tap Reply or Reply all to reply the e-mail.
• Tap Menu > Forward. Then enter the recipient
in the “To” field.
3. Compose your message.
4. Tap Send to send your e-mail.
Managing E-mail folders
To delete an e-mail
1. Tap Application Drawer > Email, and then, tap
an e-mail account (if you have two more e-mail
accounts).
2. Tap Inbox to view the inbox e-mails.
3. Tap and hold an e-mail to launch a submenu,
and then, tap Delete to delete the e-mail.
To move between messaging accounts
If you are viewing the messaging list screen of
one account and you want to view the list of
another account, tap Menu > Accounts, and then,
tap the account you want to view.
Customizing Account settings
You can configure the general settings of your
e-mail account such as Account name, Email
check frequency, and Default account, etc.
To set up your account name
1. Tap an e-mail account (if you have two more
e-mail accounts).
2. Tap Menu > Account settings > Account name
to change the account name.
3. Tap OK to confirm.
To set up the e-mail check frequency
1. Tap an e-mail account (if you have two more
e-mail accounts).
2. Tap Menu > Account settings > Inbox check
frequency. You can set the phone to
check for new e-mail every 5 minutes, every 10
minutes, every 15 minutes, every 30 minutes,
and every hour. You can also check Never.
To set up default account
1. Tap an e-mail account.
2. Tap Menu > Account settings > Default account
to send e-mail from this account by the default
settings.
To delete an e-mail account
1. Tap Application Drawer > Email.
2. Tap and hold the account to launch the
submenu, and then, tap Remove account.
3. Tap OK to confirm.

4. Using the Internet
4.1 Connecting to the Internet
Your phone connects to the Internet via:
Wi-Fi
GPRS / EDGE / 3G / 3.5G
NOTE:
If you connect to the Internet, you may be
charged. If you want to stop the connection,
you need to tap Application Drawer > Settings
> Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > to
unmark Data enabled.
Wi-Fi
Your device can connect to the detected network
through Wi-Fi.
1. Tap Application Drawer > Settings > Wireless
& networks.
2. Tap to check the Wi-Fi function and turn Wi-Fi
on or off.
To connect to a Wi-Fi network
1. Tap Wi-Fi settings, and then check Wi-Fi to
turn Wi-Fi on. Begin to search the Wi-Fi
networks.
2. Detected networks are displayed below. Tap a
network connection, and then, tap Connect.
3. If you select an unsecured network, the
connection is established automatically.
4. To connect to a secured connection, you will
be prompted for the netw ork key. Enter the key,
and then, tap Connect. When Wi-Fi is
connected, the connection icon is
displayed on the status bar.
To add Wi-Fi network
1. Tap Application Drawer > Settings > Wireless
& networks.
2. Tap Wi-Fi settings.
3. In Wi-Fi networks, tap Add Wi-Fi network. A
new window is displayed.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter
the necessary information, and then, tap Save
to store settings.

To configure Wi-Fi settings
1. Tap Application Drawer > Settings > Wireless
& networks.
2. Tap Wi-Fi Settings.

4. In IP settings, Enter the information for IP

NOTE:
If you want to use static IP, enter the IP
settings as required.
Tethering & portable hotspot
Share your phone’s mobile data connection via
USB or as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
1. Tap Application Drawer > Settings > Wireless
& networks.
2. Tap Tethering & portable hotspot.
3. You can turn on/off USB tethering, Portable
Wi-Fi hotspot, or adjust the portable Wi-Fi hotspot
settings.
VPN settings

1. Tap Application Drawer > Settings > Wireless
& networks.
2. Tap VPN settings > Add VPN to add VPNs.
To start a data connection
If you set up multiple data connections, select the
connection you want to use.

2. Tap Mobile networks > check Data enabled to
enable data access over Mobile network.
3. If you would like to use network when roaming,
please check Data roaming.
4.2 Bluetooth modes
Bluetooth on your phone operates in three
different modes:
On: Bluetooth is turned on. Your phone
detects other Bluetooth devices, but your
phone is not visible to others.
Discov erable: Bluetooth is turned on and your
phone is visible to other Bluetooth devices.
Off: Bluetooth is turned off.
To turn Bluetooth on or off
1. Tap Application Drawer > Settings > Wireless
& networks.
2. Tap Bluetooth settings.
3. Tap to turn Bluetooth on.
4. Make your phone visible to others. Check
Discoverable to make this phone visible to
other devices.

Connecting to Bluetooth Devices
A connection to a Bluetooth device is called a
partnership. You need to pair and create a
partnership with a Bluetooth device to exchange
information.
1. Tap Application Drawer > Settings > Wireless
& networks.
2. Tap Bluetooth settings to view the menu
options.
3. To search for a new device, tap Scan for
devices.
4. Tap the device to connect.
5. Start to pair, enter the password, and then tap
OK to finish pairing.
NOTE:
The password enter on your phone must be
the same one be entered on the device which
you want to pair with. The password is
required at the first time, once a partnership
has been created, the password will no longer
require again.

Creating a Playlist
Add songs to a specific playlist or create a playlist.
1. Tap Application Drawer > Music.
2. In Songs tab, tap and hold a song you want to
add. Then, tap Add to playlist in the pop-up
submenu.
3. Select the playlist you want. Or, tap New to
create a new playlist. Input a name for the
created playlist, and then, tap Save. The song
will be added to the new playlist automatically.
To remove a music file from the playlist
1. Tap Application Drawer > Music.
2. In Songs tab, tap and hold the song you want to
delete. Then, tap Delete in the pop-up submenu.
3. Tap OK, and then, the song will be deleted from
the list.

6.1 Browser
Open the Browser to view web pages.
1. Tap Application Drawer > Browser.
2. An address bar appears on screen at the upper
side, and you can type the URL there.
3. While viewing a web page,may show
up. Tap it to zoom in or zoom out. You can use
your fingers to zoom in or zoom out some web
pages also.
To set the Home page
1. While viewing a web page, tap Menu > More >
Settings > Set home page.
2. Enter the URL of the page that you want to set

the first time. Depending on your settings of the
synchronization, Gmail on your phone may be
synchronized with your Gmail account on the web
automatically.

2. If you do not log in your Google Account, tap
Next in the screen of Add a Google Account.
Tap “Create” to create an account, or tap “Sign
in” to sign in the Google account. Please follow
the on-screen instruction to log in.
3. Once logged in, you can begin reading and
sending emails from your Gmail account.

Google's mapping service help you search for the
places you want.

Use Google maps to search places that you want
to find near your current location and the details
about the location you select displays on the

2. To search: Enter the places you want in Find
places, or tap the category in the list.
3. The system will display the locations you want,

corner of the screen to add it to Maps. Help you
find the place quickly. Tap to go back to
Maps. Tap to get the direction. Tap to
make a phone call to this place.
6.8 Navigation
Navigation is an Internet-connected GPS
navigation system with voice guidance. Help you
get the destination. Tap Application Drawer >
Navigation.
NOTE:
If you connect to the Internet and turn on the
GPS, you may be charged.
In some locations and regions, Navigation may
not be available.
6.9 Google Search
Search for the information in the Internet and on
the phone. Tap Application Drawer > Google
Search.

6.10 Voice Search
1. Tap Applic ation Drawer > Voice Search. At the

To upload your video
1. Tap Application Drawer > YouTube.
2. Tap .
3. Tap to record video. Tap to stop. Input
the title and details for the video, and then, tap
Upload to upload the video.
NOTE: Before you upload the video, please
sign in to your YouTube or Google account.
6.13 Market
Android Market allows you to find and download
applications and fun games to your phone.
1. Tap Application Drawer > Market.
2. If you do not log in your Google Account, tap
Next in the screen of Add a Google Account.
Tap “Create” to create an account, or tap “Sign
in” to sign in the Google account. Please follow
the on-screen instruction to log in.
3. Once logged in, you can search and download
programs from the market. Tap Apps to view
the list of available applications, and tap Gam es

Weather can give you more convenient way in
checking your daily weather forecast status.

2. Add a city: Tap Menu > Add City. In the search
bar, input the city you want. Or, you can tap the
city you want in the list of the city, and then, back
to Weather. You can slide the screen upwards

and install it in your PC.

Synchronization Procedure
1. Connec t your device to your PC with the USB
cable.
2. After you connect your device to your PC with a
USB cable, USB Manager will pop up. Tap PC
Sync on your phone.

There are 4 modes of USB Manager after your
device connecting to PC with the USB cable:
1. Data Storage: Insert the memory card, and then,
tap Data Storage on your phone. Your PC will
pop-up a message to ask if you want to use data
storage. It can help you save the files.
2. PC Sync: Tap PC Sync on your phone, your
device will connect and access Android
Manager. Android Manager on your PC will
synchronize with your device.
3. Internet Sharing: Share your phone's mobile
network with PC.
4. Charge Only: Tap Charge Only on your phone to
start charging.

You could use this function to capture any screen
from the device. Please press Volume Key down
while holding down the Power Key. The screen
captures will be saved in
/sdcard/media/images/screencapture and you may

Select “Open folder to view files.”

To change ringtones of events
1. Tap Application Drawer > Settings > Sound.
2. On Notifications tab, tap Notification ringtone.
3. Select a ringtone from the list.
4. Tap OK to finish.
7.3 Protecting Your Phone
You can protect your phone from unauthorized users
by requiring the PIN or entering a password.
Enable the PIN of the SIM/RUIM card
When the PIN is enabled, you are required to enter
the PIN before making a call.
1. Tap Application Drawer > Settings > Location &
security > Set up SIM/RUIM card lock.
2. Select SIM 1 or SIM 2 (If SIM2 inserted.)
3. Check Lock SIM/RUIM card. Input the PIN, and
then, tap OK.
Enable the PIN of the SIM/RUIM card
1. Tap Applic ation Drawer > Settings > Location &
security > Set up SIM/RUIM card lock.
2. Select SIM 1 or SIM 2 (If SIM2 inserted.)
3. Tap Change SIM/RUIM PIN. Type the old PIN.
Then tap OK.
4. Type the new PIN. Then tap OK.
5. Re-type the new PIN. Then tap OK to change the
PIN.
Set up Password Protection
1. Tap Application Drawer > Settings > Location &
security > Set up screen lock > Password.
2. Choose your password, and then, tap Continue.
Confirm your password, then, tap OK.
3. If you want to disable screen lock security, please

Set up unlock pattern
You can further secure your data by locking the
screen and requiring a screen unlock pattern every
time after your phone is turned on or it wakes up
from the sleep mode every time (screen is off ).
1. Tap Application Drawer > Settings > Location &
security > Set up screen lock > Pattern.
2. Read the information on the screen, and then, tap
Next. Study the example pattern on the screen,
and then, tap Next.
3. Draw the unlock pattern by connecting at least
four dots. Then tap Continue.
4. Draw the unlock pattern again, and then, tap
Confirm.
5. If you want to disable the function, please tap
Application Drawer > Settings > Location &
security > Change screen lock. Confirm the
saved pattern, and then, tap None to disable it.
7.4 Resetting Your Phone
With Clean Boot, you can reset your phone to its
factory defaults. When you reset your phone, the
data stored in your phone may be erased.
1. Tap Application Drawer > Settings > Privacy.
2. Tap Factory data reset > Reset phone > Erase
everything to reset the phone.

Before reset your device, please remember to
back up all your data and information.
