Safety
This device is designed for the playback of audio signals. Any other use is expressly prohibited.
If the device is subjected to sudden changes in temperature, for example if it is brought in from the cold to a warm room, let it stand for at least two hours. Do not connect to the mains supply during this time.
Protect the device from moisture (water drops or splashes). Do not place any vessels such as vases on the device. These may be knocked over and spill fluid on the electrical components, thus presenting a safety risk.
When deciding where to place the device, please note that furniture sur­faces are covered by various types of varnish and plastic, most of which contain chemical additives. These additives can corrode the device sup­ports, leaving residues on the furniture surfaces which can be difficult or impossible to remove.
Do not use any cleaning agent, as this may damage the casing. Clean the device with a clean, damp leather cloth. Never open the device casing. No warranty claims are accepted for damage resulting from improper handling.
The type plate is located on the bottom of the device.

This device is noise-suppressed according to the applicable EU directives. This product fulfils the European directives 89/336/EEC, 73/23/EEC and 93/68/EEC. This device conforms to the safety regulation DIN EN 60065(VDE 0860) and therefore the international safety regulation IEC 60065.

OVERVIEW____________________________________________
Controls on the top
SNOOZE Interrupts the alarm function for approximately
9 minutes. The circular LED flashes when »SNOOZE« or »NAP« are pressed.
Controls on the front
Z
Sensor (Auto Dimmer). Adjusts the brightness of the display to the brightness of the room.
AL 1 Settings for alarm time 1 and alarm time 2. Press AL 2 once: Displays the current alarm programme for 3
seconds. Press again within 3 seconds: Activates the settings of the alarm programme. Press for more than two seconds and hold down: Activates or deactivates the alarm function.
WEC Deactivates and activates the alarm function for the
weekend.
NAP Press once: Activates the setting for the reminder timer.
Press and hold down: Deactivates the reminder timer.
MEMORY When the device is on: For storing a radio station on a
preset button. In stand-by mode: Activates the time zone setting; activates and saves the manual time setting.

SA For setting the radio stations manually. For changing
the selected settings such as time, date, alarm type, alarm time and alarm days.
ON/OFF Switches the device off (stand-by) and back on.
Interrupts the alarm stand-by (alarm time 1 and 2) for 24 hours. For switching off the sleep timer before the set time.
PROJECTOR Switches the projector on and off.
For manual setting of the display brightness.
1/6 ... 5/10 Station buttons. Press once for channel position 1 ... 5,
and twice for channel position 6 ... 10.
SLEEP Stand-by: Switches the radio on.
When the device is switched on: Press once to activate the sleep timer, press and hold down (3 seconds) to deactivate the sleep timer.
Controls on the sides
Connection socket for the cable of the supplied projector.
+ VOLUME – Adjusts the volume on the right side of the device.
0 Earphone socket (3.5 mm plug), on the right side of the
device. – The device’s loudspeaker is switched off.
Controls on the back
Ü Mains cable.
y Wire antenna for FM reception.
For the best reception, direct the antenna accordingly.
y DCF 77-Antenna.
Controls on the bottom
RESET Returns the device to its original setting.
Two bases that can be adjusted in three different ways.
