Introduction
The Grizzly Growler creates a cyclone of incom­ing air that separates heavy wood chips and large dust particles, increasing the performance of your single-stage dust collector, and resulting in less suction loss from dirty or clogged filters.

Assembly
Locate base arch (see Figure 2) and install

Attach (2) base legs to base arch (see Figure

washers, and

16"-18 x 1 1⁄4" hex bolts, 5⁄16" flat

tighten for now.
Install (1) end cap in the end of each base leg

5. Install (1) 5⁄16"-18 hex nut on each of (4) caster wheels, then install wheels on base, as shown in Figure 5.

6. Position base rightside up, and adjust wheels
until base sits level and does not rock. When satisfied, tighten hex nuts against base to secure position.

Locate (1) frame arch (see Figure 6) and
install (2) connectors. Funnel bracket should be facing up, as shown below.

Attach (2) frame legs to frame arch (see

Position collection drum under drum lid, hook
drum latches on lid tabs, and press latches down to secure (see Figure 15).

17. Place vacuum ring inside collection drum with
smaller side of ring facing down, as shown in Figure 14.

20. Loosen band clamp (see Figure 16) at top of
cyclone funnel to reveal metal lip.
Place intake barrel on top of funnel (see
21. Figure 16), then position clamp so band cap-
tures lip at top of funnel and lip at bottom of barrel. Tighten clamp to secure.

24. Place hose clamps over ends of vacuum hose,
then attach one end of vacuum hose to intake barrel (see Figure 19) and other end to collec­tion drum. Tighten clamps to secure hose.

chips or lung damage from breathing dust, always wear safety glasses and a respirator when operating this machine.
Maintenance
Dispose of the collection drum bag when 3⁄4 full, as seen in the drum window.
IMPORTANT: To contain wood dust and minimize risk of exposure, firmly tie bag closed.
If bag gets overfilled, dust will be sucked into the intake barrel and passed through to the dust col­lector filter. Check the drum window regularly to prevent excessive dust buildup in collection drum.
