Installation Instructions

2002+ Subaru WRX/STi/LGT/FXT

GrimmSpeed Internal Wastegate Bracket

Park your vehicle on a level surface. Fully engage your parking brake and put wheel
stops on the front and rear wheels to keep the vehicle from rolling.

All GrimmSpeed exhaust components are intended for Off-Road use only.

Warning (read before installing):

Before moving forward with the setups outlined below, insure that you have the
experience and confidence to properly modify your car. If not, please consult a
professional. All GrimmSpeed exhaust components are intended for Off-Road use only.

1. Remove 2 or 3 bolts holding OEM wastegate onto turbo.

2. Remove the bolt or unclip the C-Clip that holds the OEM wastegate arm to the

wastegate door arm.

3. Place GrimmSpeed IWG Bracket in same location as where the OEM wastegate

was. LOOSELY install the 2-3 bolts that hold the Bracket to the turbo. If you do
not loosely install all bolts before tightening down you may have install issues.

4. Reinstall bolt or C-Clip on wastegate door arm.

5. Now you may TIGHTEN 2-3 bolts that bolt Bracket to turbo.
