MODEL G __ __ __ Wall Style Canopy Hood

Exhaust only wall style with Grease Grabber™ Filter

QUICK SPECIFICATION

Kitchen Ventilation hood(s) shall be of the Type I, canopy style. The hood(s) shall be UL 710 Listed without (with) fire damper for 400°F, 600°F or 700°F rated cooking appliances.

The hood(s) exterior shall be constructed of a minimum of 18 gauge stainless steel with an embossed finish (430 SS), if 300 series SS is required, a #4 polished finish is to be provided. The hood(s) shall be constructed using the standing seam method for optimum strength. An integral 3-inch air space is provided to meet NFPA 96 clearance requirements against limited combustible walls. All seams, joints and penetrations of the hood enclosure shall be welded and/or liquid tight. Lighter material gauges, alternate material types and finishes are not acceptable. All unexposed interior surfaces shall be constructed of a minimum 18 gauge corrosion-resistant steel including, but not limited to ducts, plenum, and brackets.

The hood(s) shall include a filter housing constructed of the same material as the hood. The filters shall be UL 1046 Classified, and the filter housing shall terminate in a pitched, full length grease trough which shall drain into a removable grease container.

The hood(s) shall include a Performance Enhancing Lip (PEL) to improve capture efficiency by turning air back into the hood.

Filtration Options

Grease Grabber™

Multistage filtration system for heavy to extra-heavy duty grease applications. It removes 99% of grease particles larger than 3 microns in diameter and 100% of particles 9 microns or larger.

Grease-X-Tractor™

High-efficiency stainless steel (aluminum) filter that is designed for medium to heavy duty grease applications and removes 69% of the grease particles 8 microns or larger.

Steel Baffle Filter

The industry standard filter suited for light duty grease applications, removing 28% of particles at 8 microns and larger.

Face Supply hood(s) supply make-up air horizontally through face via perforated panels.

Combination Face & Air Curtain supply make-up air horizintally through the face and vertically through the front perimeter via perforated panels.

High-Velocity Cartridge

Stainless steel cartridge filter that is designed for light duty grease applications and removes 42% of particles at 8 microns and larger.
