Before Getting Started
Before you begin installation of your Nutri-Pro Tire Scraper, read these instructions carefully and check that all parts and tools in kit are accounted for. All hand and specialty tools for installation are provided at owner’s expense. Please retain these installation instructions for future reference and parts ordering information.
These installation instructions contain information for assembling the Nutri-Pro Tire Scraper to the main machine. Please read all instructions in your Nutri-Pro operator manual thoroughly before proceeding.
Instructions contain information for all makes and models of the applicable machines.
General Information
The Nutri-Pro Tire Scraper cleans mud and debris from gauge wheel tires during operation.
Tools Required
The following tools are required for installation:
general hand toolswire or rod welder and welding safety equipmentfire extinguisherGreat Plains green spray paint, 821-001C

Preparation
Move the machine to a solid, level surface. Make sure the surface is free of any flammable material.
Park and secure the implement.
Getting Started
Check that all parts in the kit are accounted for. Refer to the parts list on page 2.
Make sure any required tools are on hand. See “Tools Required” on page 1 for a general list of recommended tools for installation.
1 Light Gauge Wheel
These instructions are for installing the tire scraper to a light gauge wheel.
If your gauge wheel does not have the two
mounting holes (1), follow the instructions at step 1a to install the tire scraper to the gauge wheel arm.
If your gauge wheel does have the two mounting
holes, go to step 1b for instructions to bolt the tire scraper to the gauge wheel arm.
1a. Installing to Light Gauge Wheel Arm without
Mounting Holes
Fit the locator mount (26) over the gauge wheel axle bolt (2).
Align the edges of the locator mount with the edges of the gauge wheel arm as shown.
Position the mount plate (23) on the locator mount as shown.

Fire Hazard:
Welding can create sparks. Perform the work away from flammable materials. Wear suitable protective equipment. Allow hot parts to cool before continuing work.
Tack weld along the top of the mount plate to hold it in position.
Remove the locator mount.

Weld ( places on the top of the mount plate and two places
on the bottom.
Clean off any slag and weld splatter. Allow the welds to cool. Paint green.

2 Medium Gauge Wheel
These instructions are for installing the tire scraper to a medium gauge wheel.
If your gauge wheel does not have the two
mounting holes (1), follow the instructions at step 2a to install the tire scraper to the gauge wheel arm.
If your gauge wheel does have the two mounting
holes, go to step 2b for instructions to bolt the tire scraper to the gauge wheel arm.
Position the mount plate (23) on the locator mount as shown.
Fire Hazard:

3 Heavy Gauge Wheel
These instructions are for installing the tire scraper to a heavy gauge wheel.
If your gauge wheel does not have the two
mounting holes (1), follow the instructions at step 3a to install the tire scraper to the gauge wheel arm.
If your gauge wheel does have the two mounting
holes, go to step 3b for instructions to bolt the tire scraper to the gauge wheel arm.
Position the mount plate (23) on the locator mount as shown.
Fire Hazard:
Welding can create sparks. Perform the work away from flammable materials. Wear suitable protective equipment. Allow hot parts to cool before continuing work.
Tack weld along the top of the mount plate to hold it in position.
Remove the locator mount.
