1. Install the Virtual Printer Driver
1. Open the control panel, click on the Add printer icon, the welcome dialog box will appear:

Select “Local printer attached to this computer.” Do NOT select “Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer, click Next
Enter a port name (the port name can be arbitrary), click OK

Click Have Disk, and browse to your directory of virtual printer driver
Choose the directory where the virtual printer driver is located:

Select vprinter.inf” and click Open. The following dialog box will load:
Click OK

Once a driver is selected, then click Next
You can enter a printer name or use the default name, click Next

You can also describe the location and capabilities of the printer, click Next when done.

To confirm the printer is installed properly, you can print a test page, click Next when done.
Click on Finish.

A message will appear stating “the virtual printer has not passed windows Logo testing; Click Continue Anyway”
Install vPrinerSrv Service
run install.bat, a dos dialog box will appear briefly. You will know that the service is successfully installed when it disappears.
Unistall vPrinerSrv Service
run uninstall.bat, t a dos dialog box will appear briefly. You will know that the service was successfully uninstalled when it disappears.

2. Configure the Virtual Printer
You must reboot your system after configuring the printer settings for the changes to take effect.
Important: - The virtual printer will act as the GXE’s client, you will need to create an
extension for the Vprinter.
- The IP-PBX IP is the GXE IP address in our case.
- The Caller is the Extension number created in the GXE Web UI.
- The password used is the voicemail password (not the SIP password), the default Voicemail password is the extension number. If it is changed, you must update it in the virtual printer configuration page (image above)

3. Use the Virtual Printer
Open the document that you want to fax and click “Print in the file menu. Select “Virtual printer” or the name that you gave to it, and then click “OK”.
A pop-up window will ask you for the fax destination, enter it and click submit.
Important: - The destination number must include the outbound prefix for the trunk that you wish to use.. Ex: if you have a PSTN trunk with outbound prefix “9” and wants to send an external fax to (xxx)xxx-xxxx, you should enter : 9xxxxxxxxxx
