ENGLISH

INSTALLATION

Recommendations for maximum optimization.

To obtain both the best product possible and the best results, we strongly
recommend installing the s cale by following these guidelines below:

• Install the scale on a flat surface.

• Place the scale on a stable and vibration free surface.

• Do not expose to direct sunlight

• Do not use the scale in an atmosphere containing combustible corrosive
gas.

• Do not store it in a dusty or durty place.

• Store at room temperature 59º - 86º F (15º - 30º C)

• Use in a room with less than 95% RH humidity

• Keep the scale away from objects that may cause magnetic or acoustic
interference.

• Calibrate it in its final location and verify from time to time it did not move

• because of the optional calibration weighing.

VERY IMPORTANT: Keep the original package. It could be useful in the future
in transporting the balance.

KEYBOARD DESCRIPTION

To turn on or turn off the balance.

To select the weight unit.

Press it to enter to counting mode.

Reset the scale to zero or tare.

Negative value.

OPERATIONS

Turn on the scale

Press the key to turn on th escale. The scale will show « 88888 », and
when it will be ready for use.

Reset to zero

If the weighing pan is empty and the reading is not « 0 » or the zero indicator
isn´t displayed, press the key to display « 0 » and the zero indicator
appears.

Tare function

This function allows obtaining the net weight of a product.

1. With display showing zero value, place a empty container on the weighing
pan.

2. Press the key.

3. The balance will subtract the container´s weight, put the product into the
container, after stable, the value displayed is the weight of the product
(net weight).

To return to normal weighing mode, remove the container from platter and
press the key.

Weight unit selection

Press the key to select the desired unit weight.

Pieces counting function

1. Press the key to turn on the balance.

2. Place on the weighing pan a quantity of items as initial sample.

3. Press and hold the

key until to view “S-10”.

4. Press again the

key to select the desired sample number (S-10,

S-20 or S-50).

5. The balance begin to count after a few seconds.

6. Press the key to exit.

The greater quantity of pieces put in the initial sample, the greater accuracy
in balance’s results.

Turn-off and automatic turn-off

To turn-off the balance, press the key.

If your scale have the auto-power off function, it will automatically turn off
after 2 minutes without operation.

Calibration

1. Press the to turn on the scale for warm-up for 1-2 minutes.

2. Press the key , the display will show “0.0”

3. Press and hold the key for 3 seconds, the display will show the
message “CAL” and then the calibration weight value.

4. Place on the weighing pan the calibration weight.

5. The display will show the weight and twinkle and then the message

“PASS”.

6. The calibration has been completed.

NOTE: If your balance still does not read accurately, it means that the
calibration failed and please follow the above steps to re-calibrate it again.

Please, do it on a very stable and flat surface.

GUARANTEE

The scale is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a
period of 1 year from the date of delivery.

During the warranty period, GRAM PECISION SL will repair any product that
proves to be defective.

Limitation of warranty

This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from misuse of any product
or part. This warranty also does not apply to damage from overload or
problems arising from failure to follow instructions (Especially concerning
the MAINTENANCE TIPS).

The warranty does not cover shipping costs necessary to repair the scale.
Therefore, shipping charges to and from the repair location must be paid
by the owner.

INSTALACIÓN

Requisitos para una óptima instalación.

Para obtener el máximo rendimiento y los mejores resultados,
reco¬mendamos instalar la balanza de acuerdo con los siguientes requisitos:

• Instalarla en una superficie plana.

• Apoyarla en una base estable y exenta de vibraciones.

• No exponerla a la luz solar directa.

• No someterla a atmósferas con gases corrosivos.

• Mantenerla en ambientes libres de polvo o suciedad.

• Trabajar a temperaturas entre 15º y 30º C.

• Utilizarla en ambientes con una humedad inferior a un 95% HR.

• Mantenerla lejos de equipos que produzcan cualquier interferencia
magnética o acústica.

• Calibrarla en su emplazamiento definitivo, y comprobarla periódicamente
con la pesa de calibración opcional; si fuera necesario, calibrarla.

MUY IMPORTANTE: No deshacerse del embalaje, puede ser útil en el futuro
si fuera necesario transportar la balanza.

OPERACIONES

Encender la balanza

Pulsar la tecla para encender la balanza. El display mostrará « 88888»
y seguidamente estará preparada para pesar.

Puesta a cero

Si el plato de pesada está vacío y la lectura del display no es « 0 » o el
indicador de zero no está activado, pulsar la tecla

para poner la lectura

del display a « 0 » y para activar el indicador de cero.

Función de tara

Esta función permite obtener el peso neto de un producto.

1. Con la lectura del display a cero « 0 », colocar un recipiente sobre el
plato de pesada.

2. Pulsar la tecla .

3. La balanza sustraerá el peso del recipiente.

4. Introducir el producto dentro del recipiente, una vez estabilizado el peso,
el display visualizará el peso neto del producto.

Para volver al modo normal de pesaje, retirar el recipiente del plato y pulsar
la tecla .

Seleccion de la unidad de pesada

Pulsar la tecla para seleccionar la unidad de pesada deseada.

Funcion cuentapiezas

1. Con la lectura del display a cero « 0 », depositar sobre el plato de pesada
una cantidad de piezas como muestra inicial.

2. Mantener pulsada la tecla

hasta visualizar “S-10”.

3. Pulsar de nuevo la tecla

para seleccionar el número de muestra

deseado (S-10, S-20 o S-50).

4. La balanza empezará el contaje transcurridos unos segundos.

5. Pulsar la tecla

para salir y volver al modo normal de pesaje.

Cuanto mayor sea la muestra inicial, mayor será la exactitud en los
resultados.

Apagar la balanza / autodesconexion

Para apagar la balanza, pulsar la tecla .

Si su balanza tiene la función de auto-desconexión, ésta se apagará
automáticamente después de 2 minutos sin su utilización.

Calibracion

1. Pulsar la tecla para encender la balanza.

2. Esperar entre 1-2 minutos para su precalentamiento.

3. Pulsar la tecla el display mostrará “0.0”.

4. Mantener pulsada la tecla durante 3 segundos, el display visualizará
el mensaje “CAL” y seguidamente el valor de la pesa de calibración.

5. Colocar sobre el plato de pesada la pesa de calibración.

6. El display mostrará el peso parpadeando y el mensaje “PASS”.

7. La calibración ha sido completada.

NOTA: Si una vez efectuada la calibración, la balanza no efectúa las pesadas
con exactitude, significa que el procedimiento de calibración ha fallado, en
este caso, repetir el procedimiento siguiendos los pasos arriba indicados.

Por favor, efectuar la calibración sobre una superficie plana y estable.

GARANTIA

Esta balanza está garantizada contra todo defecto de fabricación y de
material, por un periodo de 1 año a partir de la fecha de entrega.

Durante este periodo, GRAM PRECISION, se hará cargo de la reparación de
la balanza.

Esta garantía no incluye los daños ocasionados por uso indebido o
sobrecargas.

La garantía no cubre los gastos de envío (portes) necesarios para la
reparación de la balanza.

INSTALLATION

Exigences pour une installation optimale.

Pour obtenir un rendement maximal et les meilleurs résultats, nous
vous recommandons d’installer la balance conformément aux exigences
suivantes:

• Installez la balance sur une surface plate.

• Poser la sur une base stable et sans vibrations.

• Ne pas l’exposer directement au soleil.

• Ne pas être soumise à des atmosphères avec des gaz corrosifs.

• La maintenir dans un environnement sans poussière ou saleté.

• Travailler à des températures entre 15°C et 30°C.

• Utilisation dans des environnements avec une humidité inférieure à 95%
HR.

• Maintenir éloigner des équipements qui sont susceptibles de produire
des interférences magnétiques ou acoustiques.

• Calibrer à son emplacement définitif et la vérifier périodiquement avec
une masse de calibration optionnelle, s’il est nécessaire, de la calibrer.

TRÈS IMPORTANT: Conserver l’emballage, il peut être utile par la suite pour
transporter la balance.

OPERATIONS

Allumer la balance

Appuyer sur la touche pour allumer la balance. L’afficheur affichera

« 88888 » et la balance sera prête pour peser.

Mise à zéro

Si le plateau de pesée est vide et la lecture du display n’est pas « 0 » ou
l’indicateur zéro n’est pas activé, appuyer sur la touche pour mettre la
lecture à « 0 » et activer l’indicateur zéro.

Fontion tare

Cette fonction permet d’obtenir le poids net d’un produit.

1. Avoir l’afficheur à zéro « 0 », placer un récipient sur le plateau de pesée.

2. Appuyer sur la touche .

3. La balance soustraira le poids du récipient.

4. Introduire le produit dans le récipient, une fois stabilisé le poids,
l’afficheur affichera le poids net du produit.

Pour revenir au mode normal de pesage, retirer le récipient du plateau et
appuyer sur la touche .

Sélection de l’unité de poids

Appuyer sur la touche pour sélectionner l’unité de poids désirée.

Fonction comptes pieces

1. Avec l’afficheur à zéro « 0 », mettre sur le plateau de pesée une quantité
de pièces en tant qu’échantillon initial.

2. Maintenir appuyer la touche

jusqu’à ce qu’apparaisse “S-10”

3. Appuyer de nouveau sur la touche

pour sélectionner le nombre

d’échantillon désiré (S-10, S-20 o S-50)

4. La balance commencera le comptage après quelques secondes.

5. Appuyer sur la touche

pour sortir et revenir au mode normal de

pesage.

Plus grand est l’échantillon initiale, plus exacte sera le résultat.

Eteindre la balance / auto-déconnexion

Pour éteindre la balance, appuyer sur la touche .

Si votre balance a la fonction auto-déconnexion, elle s’éteindra
automatiquement après 2 minutes sans utilisation.

Calibration

1. Appuyer sur la touche pour allumer la balance.

2. Attendre entre 1-2 minutes que la balance se charge.

3. Appuyer sur la touche l’écran affichera “0.0”.

4. Maintenir appuyer la touche pendant 3 secondes, l’écran affichera
le message “CAL” et immédiatement la valeur de la pesée de calibration.

5. Placer sur le plateau de pesée la masse de calibration.

6. Sur l’écran clignotera le poids et apparaîtra le message “PASS”.

7. La calibration est terminée.

NOTE: Une fois effectué la calibration, la balance n’affecte pas les pesées
avec exactitude, cela signifie que la procédure de calibration a échoué,
dans ce cas, il faut répéter la procédure en suivant les étapes décrites
précédemment.

Nous recommandons de faire la calibration sur une surface plate et stable.

GARANTIE

Cette balance est sous garantie pour tous les défauts de fabrication et
matérielle, dans une période d’un an à partir de la date d’expédition.

Pendant cette période, GRAM PRECISION, prendra en charge la réparation
de la balance.

Cette garantie n’inclut pas les dommages occasionnés par un usage incorrect
ou une surcharge.

La garantie ne couvre pas les dépenses d’expédition (transport) nécessaire
pour toute réparation de la balance.
