Mains plug is used as disconnect device and it should remain readily operable during intended use. In order to disconnect the apparatus from the mains completely, the mains plug should be disconnected from the mains socket outlet completely.

The lightning ash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage" within the product's enclosure that may be of sufcient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.
This product utilizes a Class 1 laser to read Compact Discs. This laser Compact Disc Player is equipped with safety switches to avoid exposure when the CD door is open and the safety interlocks are defeated. Invisible laser radiation is present when the CD Player’s lid is open and the system’s interlock has failed or been defeated. It is very important that you avoid direct exposure to the laser beam at all times. Please do not attempt to defeat or bypass the safety switches.

7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding - type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. When the provided plug does not t into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.

Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specied by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

Plug the attached AC cord into a standard AC power outlet to power the home music system.

Speaker Connections
Connect the included speakers to the SPEAKER OUTPUT on the back of the music system.
The speaker to be placed on the right side of the music system, when facing the system, should be plugged into the output labeled “R”. The left speaker should be plugged into the output labelled “L”.

1. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD door.
CD and Radio
Listening to the AM or FM RadioLoading a CD
1. Press the POWER button to turn the player on.
2. Insert a CD, label side facing up.
3. Manually close the CD door.
Playing a CD
1. Follow the instructions for Loading a CD.
2. Press the POWER button to turn the player on.
3. Press the CD/RADIO button to switch to CD mode.
4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to begin playing the loaded CD.
Programming a CD
1. Follow the instructions for Loading a CD and Playing a CD.
2. Press the STOP button to stop the CD.
3. Press the PROGRAM button.
4. Press the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to select a track from the loaded CD to play rst.
2. Press the CD/RADIO button to switch to radio mode.
3. Press the AM/FM button to switch between AM and FM mode.
4. Turn the TUNING dial to adjust the AM or FM radio station.
Radio Reception
Adjust the FM WIRE ANTENNA to adjust FM radio reception.
An AM antenna is built into the music system. Adjust the position of the music system to adjust AM radio reception.
5. Press the PROGRAM button.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to program tracks from the loaded CD to play in the order they are selected.
7. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to begin playing the programmed CD.
8. Press the STOP button twice to cancel the program.

Clock and Alarm
Setting the Clock
1. Press the POWER button to turn the system o.
2. Press and hold the TIME button.
3. While holding the TIME button, press the HOUR and MIN buttons to set the time.
4. Release the TIME button to nish setting the clock.
Setting the Alarm
1. Press the POWER button to turn the system o.
2. Press and hold the AL SET button.
3. While holding the AL SET button, press the HOUR and MIN buttons to set the time.
4. Release the AL SET button to nish setting the alarm time.
5. Press the AL OFF/ON button to activate or deactivate the alarm.
6. Press the MUSIC/BUZZER button to switch between music or buzzer.
7. When set to MUSIC, press the CD/ RADIO button to switch between waking to CD or radio.
8. When the set alarm time is reached, the music system will power on and alert you using the set mode.

Cancelling the Alarm
1. Press the AL OFF/ON button to activate or deactivate the alarm.
An alarm icon will appear on the display when the alarm is activated.
3.5mm Audio Input
Using the Audio Input
Requires a 3.5mm audio cable (not included)
1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable to the 3.5MM AUDIO INPUT on the music system and an audio ouptut on an MP3 player or other audio source.
2. Use the native controls on the connected MP3 player or other audio source to play, pause, and control music output through the connected music system.
When the 3.5mm Audio Input is connected, CD mode and Radio mode will be deactivated.
