• Fusion ca ptures ever ything a round you, re gardle ss of where the
camera is pointed. However, for best results, aim one of the lenses
directly at the main sub ject.
• OverCapture lets you capture content in all directions from a s ingle
point of view. So, you do not need as many cameras to ens ure that
you get the shot. And you ca n select th e content that i s impor tant to
you after you ca pture.
• For the best results, at tach Fusion to the mou nts that came with the
camera. Using the m ounts moves th e camera away from your ha nd
and help s reduce th e chance s that your ha nd appe ars in the sh ot.
• When usin g Fusion a s a handhe ld came ra without a m ount, group
most of your ngers un dernea th the came ra near the m ounting
ngers . This pla cement re duces th e chance that your hand appears

In low light, hi gher ISO va lues res ult in brig hter images, but with greater
image noise. Lower values result in lower image noise, but darker images.

resumes . (You cannot record while c harging th e camera through a

BATTERY DISPOSAL
Most rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are classied as non-hazardous
waste and are s afe for dispo sal in the normal mu nicipa l waste stream .
Many loca lities have laws in pla ce requir ing battery recycli ng. Chec k your
local law s to make sure that yo u can dis pose of rech argeab le batteri es
in your regu lar trash. To safely dispose of l ithium-i on batteries, protect
terminal s from exposu re to other metal w ith packing, masking or ele ctrical
tape so they d o not caus e a re while b eing tran sporte d.
Lithium-ion batteries, however, do contain recyclable materials and
are accepted for recycli ng by the Rechargeab le Batter y Recycling
Corporation’s (RBRC) Battery Recycli ng Progra m. We encou rage you
to visit Call 2Recycle at c all2recycle.org or c all 1-80 0-BATTERY in North
America to nd a convenient recycling location.

MY GOPRO WON'T POWER ON
Make sure you r GoPro is charged. To charge your camera, use the
includ ed USB- C cable and a compu ter. You can also use Go Pro's
Supercharger or USB-compatible Wall Charger or Auto Charger (all sold
separately) or any charging d evice ma rked with outp ut 5V 1-3A .

PLAYBACK ON MY COMPUTER I S CHOPPY
Choppy pl ayback is t ypical ly not a probl em with the l e. If your foota ge
skips, one of these situations is likely the cause:
• Using an incompatible video player. Not all video players support
the H.264 c odec. Fo r best res ults, downl oad the late st versio n of
Fusion Stu dio for free a t gopro.com /apps.
• The comp uter does n ot meet the minimum re quireme nts for playb ack.
The highe r the resol ution and frame rate of your video, the h arder the
computer has to work to play i t back. Ma ke sure that you r computer
meets the mi nimum req uireme nts for the playback soft ware.
