The speakercable can b e eitherbe passedt hrough the hole
in the base or placedi n t he slot on the undersideof the speaker
before attaching t he base .

A. Put the wire through the hole at the base.
B. Use the screw to fix the base to speaker box .
1. Connect the cen tre sp eaker to the "CENTRE SPEAKER OUT SOCKET" .
2. C onnec t the front left s pe aker to t he "FRON T L SPEAKER OUT SO CKET " .
3. C onnec t the front right speaker to the "FRONT R SPEAKEROUT SOC KET" .
4. Connect the surr ound(rear) left speaker to the " SURROUNDL SPEAKER OUT SOCKET " .
5. C onnect th e surr oun d (re ar ) right speaker t o the "SURROUND R SPEAKER OUT SOCKET" .

Before connecting ensure tha t the main unitand all associated compone nts are dis connected fromthe mains supply..
The connection ca bles ar e color c oded White( +) and G rey (-), Ens ure that these are connected t o the respe ctive
outputs o n th e r ear of the main unit.

If the main unit fails to p ower up andn o li ghts show on the
front panel. Checkth e foll owing bef ore retur ning th e un it
for repair /repl acement:
1.Makesure that the power switch on the back panel is
switchedon.
2.Check / replace the 3A fusein the mainsplug.
3.Checkthe3 A fuseon back panel.
4.Fuse type(20mm F3A/250V) available from specialist
electricalshop.

Remove the mains plugf rom the mainss ocket before
attempting to check / replace the fuse located on the
bac k pa n el.
Check /repl ace the 3A f u se located on the back pane l of
them ain unit.The fuse cover is removed by unscrewing
(anticlockwise)thecoverusingasmall flatbladed
screwdriver.

7. OPERATION

After connecting the sp eakers to the main unit(sub-woofer speaker), c onnect the mainsplug into
thehousehold mains o utlet socketthen switch the power on using t he ON/OFF switch located on
therear of s ub-woofer.
Use with 5.1 d olby surround source(D VD)
Press 5.1CH bu tton on remoteco ntr ol to select 5.1ch annel input source for DVD.
NOTE: To listen to5.1 dolbys urroun d sound, it i s nece ssary to sw itch the DVD player (or oth er source) in to 5.1 mode,

Centre speaker adjustment
Press the CEN-,CEN+ buttonon therem ote con trol to adjust thev olume level o f centre spe aker.
Front speaker adjustment
Press FL/F R-, FL/FR+ button on the remot e control to adjust the vol ume level of front speakers.
Surrounds peaker adjustment
Press S L/S R -, SL/SR+ button on th e remote con trol t o adjust the v olum e level of su rround(r ear) speakers.
Bass ad j ustme nt / Treble adjustment
Press BAS S-, BASS+ b utton on the remotecon trol to adjust bass le vel.
PressTREBLE-,TREBLE+button on the r emotecontrol to adjust treblelevel.
Sub-woofer speake r adjustmen t
Press SUB-, SUB+ button on the remote control toadjust volume level of sub-woofer.
Use with stere o (L&R) sou rce
Press the AUX, SAT , DVD-R orTV buttonon theremote controlto select one 2CH inputsource.
TheAUX, S AT, DVD-R or TV LED lig ht will illuminate on the fr ont panel of sub-woofer.
PressV5.1/2.1CHbutton to enable theVIRTUAL5.1 S URROUNDSOUND. Otherwise
