INSTALLATION
Your Econo 8 Popper was adjusted, inspected, and tested before it left the factory. Remove all packing
before setting up your new Econo 8. Hang the kettle on the hanger assembly attached to the celling of
your Econo 8. Finally, make sure to plug the power cord into the power receptacle located on the celling
of your popper.
CONTROLS AND THEIR FUNCTIONS
LIGHT AND WARMER SWITCH – Turns on the heat to the bottom corn pan and heat light.
KETTLE MOTOR SWITCH – Turns on the motor which drives kettle agitator shaft.
KETTLE HEAT SWITCH – Turns on the heat element
AMOUNT OF POPCORN AND OIL
Your new Econo 8 is equipped with a corn measuring cup (Part No.47147).
Corn charge – 8 oz.
Oil charge – 2.4 oz.
Flavacol – 1 1/2 teaspoon
POPPING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn Kettle Heat and Kettle Motor switch on.
2. Make a test pop by putting 3 kernels of corn and 1 oz. (30 ml) of oil into the kettle.
3. When the 3 kernels have popped, load the kettle with corn and oil charge.
4. When corn has popped, dump the kettle.
5. Repeat cycle starting with step number 3 above; always pop 3-5 batches for best popcorn.
