Quick Start Guide
1. Connect to power
Place your Digital Photo Frame on a at surface. Con­nect the USB power as shown below:

You can transfer Pictures to the Picture frame from
your PC by inserting an external memory card. Turn
off the picture frame’s power and connect the Picture frame to your PC using a mini-USB cable. Turn the Picture frame back on and wait for the below gure to

After transferred the photos and safety removed from PC, the photo frame will return to the previous status.
Your PC can also now access the any memory card
inserted in the digital picture frame besides the
internal memory. The memory card will be displayed at
“Devices with removable storage” under My Computer. You may now move photo les onto them just like you would with any external USB drive or normal hard drive.

4. Start Up
Press the power button on the back of the photo frame. The photo frame will automatically scan photos of supported formats in the memory card. Once ready,
it will begin playing slideshow automatically.
Note: If the device cannot start up, check to see if the wall outlet is functional and the USB power is plugged properly.
5. G button
Press G button to navigate between Slideshow, Clock
(Analog or Digital Clock) and Slideshow (with Clock background).

Guide de démarrage rapide
1. Branchement à l’alimentation
Placez votre cadre photo numérique sur une surface plane. Connectez l’alimentation USB comme indiqué
ci-dessous :
Ou bien insérez des piles AAA (3 unités) et appuyez sur le bouton
d’Alimentation pour allumer le cadre
photo numérique.
2. Connexion au PC
Vous pouvez transférer des images vers le cadre photo depuis votre PC en insérant une carte mémoire externe. Éteignez l’alimentation du cadre photo et reliez-le à votre PC par le biais d’un câble mini-USB. Rallumez le cadre photo et attendez que l’illustration

3. Insérer une carte mémoire
Avant d’allumer votre cadre photo, veuillez in-
sérer une carte mémoire contenant des photos
dans la fente indiquée ici sur le côté de votre
cadre photo.
4. Démarrage
Appuyez sur le bouton d’alimentation au dos du cadre
photo. Le cadre photo recherche automatiquement
les photos aux formats pris en charge dans la carte mémoire. Une fois prêt, il démarre automatiquement
la lecture.
Remarque : Si l’appareil ne peut pas démarrer, vériez que la prise secteur est en état de marche et que l’adaptateur d’alimentation est correctement branché.

Appuyez sur le bouton G pour naviguer entre Diap­orama, Horloge (Horloge analogique ou numérique) et
Diaporama (Avec horloge en fond d’écran)

Guía de inicio rápido
1. Conexión a la alimentación
Coloque su marco de fotos digital sobre una supercie
plana. Conecte el adaptador de alimentación USB como se indica en la imagen siguiente:
O inserte las baterías AAA (3 uds.) y presione el botón de Encendido para
encender el marco de fotos digital.
2. Conexión a un PC
Puede transferir imágenes al marco de fotos desde su PC insertando una tarjeta de memoria externa. Apague el marco de fotos y conéctelo a su PC utili­zando un cable mini-USB. Vuelva a encender el marco

de fotos y espere a que aparezca la siguiente gura
en la pantalla del mismo. La detección automática se
realizará en Windows 2000 / ME / XP y MAC OS.
Controlador USB
Una vez transferidas las fotografías y desconectado el marco con seguridad del PC, el marco de fotos volverá a su último estado.
Su PC podrá acceder ahora a la tarjeta de memoria externa insertada en el marco de fotos digital y a la memoria interna. La tarjeta de memoria se mostrará en “Dispositivos de almacenamiento extraíble” dentro de Mi PC. Ahora puede mover los archivos de fotografía al marco como si lo hiciera con cualquier
unidad USB externa o disco duro normal.
3. Insertar una tarjeta de memoria
Antes de encender su marco de fotos, inserte una

tarjeta de memoria que contenga fotografías en la
ranura que se muestra en la ilustración, situada en el
lateral del marco de fotos.
4. Inicio
Presione el botón negro situado en la parte trasera
del marco de fotos. El marco de fotos buscará automáticamente fotografías con formato compatible en la tarjeta de memoria. Una vez que esté preparado,
comenzará a reproducirlas automáticamente.
Nota: si el dispositivo no se puede iniciar, compruebe si la toma de suministro eléctrico funciona y si el cable de
alimentación USB está bien conectado.
5. Botón G
Presione el botón G para navegar entre los modos Presentación, Reloj (analógico o digital) y Present­ación (con fondo de reloj).

GiiNii Digital Picture Frame. Chapter 1 shows how to
get started. Chapter 2 discusses the functionality of the Buttons. Chapter 3 goes over Menu Options.

Chapter 1: LET’S GET STARTED!
1.1 Attaching the Back Stand
The back stand is nested in the box. Place your digital
picture frame on a at surface and attach the back stand to the Digital picture frame.
1.2 Connecting to Power
3 ways to power your GiiNii Digital Picture Frame
(1) By AC Adaptor
Place your digital picture frame on a at surface. Insert the small jack into the picture frame (as shown below),
then plug the AC cord into an electrical outlet. In some cases, you may need to slip on the double-plug attachment that goes into the wall socket
before using.

Helpful Tips
• Press the power button continuously for 2 seconds to
turn on the product while it is placed on a stable and level
surface
• If the device cannot start up, check the wall outlet for
proper functionality and see if the power adaptor is plugged
in properly in the back.
2) By Battery:
Insert three AAA batteries into the battery compartment and then press Power to turn on the Digital Picture Frame.

3) Power by PC (USB cable connect to PC)
Simply connect the frame to the PC using provided USB cable, and the frame can be powered on.
1.3 Inserting a Memory Card
Before turning on your Picture Frame, please insert
a Memory Card containing pictures into the slot
shown here on the side of your Picture Frame. Your
player comes with 3 preinstalled pictures, and will
automatically begin a slideshow if no Memory Card or supported media device can be detected. If you insert a Memory Card, the device will automatically begin
playing your own personal contents.
Helpful Tips
• This device supports following memory
cards: SD, MMC, MMC+, MS and xD.
• For further informa­tion on supported memory card types
and le formats, please refer the Prod­uct Specications.
Notes:
(1) If there is no picture, the Picture Frame will default to
the clock.

1.5 Turning on the Digital Picture Frame
Press the power button on the back of the Picture
Frame. The Picture Frame will automatically scan pic-
tures of supported formats in the Memory Card. Press Left or Right button to view the previous or next photo.
Note: If the device cannot start up, check to see if the wall
outlet is functional. Or if powered by connecting to PC,
please check if the USB cable is plugged in properly. When
operated by batteries, please make sure that batteries are
installed properly.
Helpful Tips
• Basic setup for time and date may appear, when the frame
rst powers on.
• If SD card is empty or contains unviewable images, an
error message will appear and the unit will return to the
current operation.

The following entries are in the standard Main Menu:

In slideshow, press OK to access Main Menu: Calen­dar, Clock, Photo and Setting.
Use Up or Down arrow to select the menus.
Calendar
• Use the Left/Right arrows to select Calendar.
• Press OK to access the Calendar.

• Press OK to conrm and exit.
Clock
• Use the Left/Right arrows to select Clock.
• Use the arrows again to select Digital Clock or
Analog Clock.

message will appear (as shown below):
Then press OK to delete the photo.

Setting
• Use the Left/Right arrow to select Setting.
• Press OK to access Setting.
Date/Time Setting
In this mode, press OK to access the submenus for AM/PM, Minute, Hour, Day, Month and Year.
Use the Left or Right arrow to select one of them and
press OK to access.
Then use arrow buttons to edit date and time.
Press OK to conrm and exit.
General Setting
In this mode, press OK to access the submenus for
EnerGiiNii, Brightness, Contrast, Language and Reset.

EnerGiiNii
Press OK to access EnerGiiNii.
Use Left or Right arrow to select between EnerGiiNii Off, EnerGiiNii On, EnerGiiNii Save 20% and EnerGii­Nii Save 50%.
Press OK to conrm and exit.
Notice : If users use battery to be the power source, the
EnerGiiNii function will disable and can not be selected
because of the extension of the operation time.

Press OK to access Brightness.
Use the Left or Right arrow to select between Normal,
Brighter and Darker.
Press OK to conrm and exit.
Contrast
Press OK to access Contrast.
Use the Left or Right arrow to select between Normal, Soft and Sharp.

Slideshow Setting
In this mode, press OK to access the submenu: Inter-
val, Transition and Play Mode.
Interval
Use Left or Right arrow to select Interval and press OK

to select between 1 Minute, 10 Seconds and 3 Seconds.
Press OK to conrm and exit.
Transition
Use Left or Right arrow to select Transition and press
OK to access.
Use Left or Right arrow again to select between Ran­dom, Fade, Wipe Left, Shutter, Bar, Mask, Expansion, Cross, Brick, Dissolve and Silk.

Chapter 4: Other Features

Chapter 6: Frequently asked questions
This product has been set to its standard mode of operations before shipping. If you encounter any
problems while using the Digital Picture Frame, please
refer to the following table for problems and solutions.
Problem Solution
Picture is
fuzzy or
unstable
Make sure the resolution & color of Pictures are displayed ne on a PC. Keep the player away from any interference,
e.g. induction cooker, hair dryer, magnetized and unshielded speakers, etc.
Frame will not power on
Hold the button down for 3 seconds
Make sure the Power adapter is connected correctly to the Frame and wall.
Unplug the power adapter from the frame,
wait 5 second and plug the adapter back and then press the power button.
After con­necting the Digital Picture Frame and PC with an USB cable, the operating system does not detect it.
1. The Digital Picture frame supports Windows 2000/XP/Vista. Other operating
systems may work but are not supported by GiiNii.
2. If the Picture Frame is not recognized by USB ports at the front side of the PC, try
the USB ports at rear side (usually near the
keyboard jack) of the PC.

Chapter 7: Regulatory issues and War-
ranty
7.1 Regulation & Compliance
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interfer-
ence in a residential installation. This equipment can
radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and
used in accordance with the instructions, may cause
harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will
not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television
reception, which can be determined by turning the
equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one of the following
measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and
receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit dif-
ferent from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV
technician for help.

7.2 GiiNii 90-Day Limited Warranty
Please read this Limited Warranty carefully. The limited warranty set forth below is given by GiiNii, the maker of your new Digital picture frame, when purchased in the United States of America through an authorized retailer and used for non-commercial pur­poses. We warranty this product against manufactur­ing and material defects for a period of (90) days from the date of purchase. Do not return your product to the retailer for warranty claims.
(1) Please maintain the Warranty Statement in a safe
place along with your dated sales receipt. Please
retain the original box in the event you need to
make a warranty claim. Returning your product for
a warranty claim in best done in the original box or
an alternative package that ensure its safe return to
GiiNii. Please contact our Customer Service team
about the appropriate return-shipping package.
(2) GiiNii Customer Service and Technical Support:

(3) Parts and Labor Coverage. During the rst 90 days
of ownership, GiiNii will repair or replace the product,
at its option, at no charge if the product is found
to be defective due to material or manufacturing

defects. GiiNii will provide a new product of similar
or greater value at its discretion. Or, provide new or
rebuilt replacement parts at its sole discretion. Re-
placement or repair of one part of the product does
not constitute replacement or repair of other parts of
the product. The customer bears the responsibility to
ship the product back to GiiNii, at their cost. Pending
review of the product, that shipping cost will be
refunded to the customer. To make a warranty claim,
you must rst contact Customer Service and receive
a Return Authorization Code. No repairs or replace-
ments can be made without a Return Authorization
Code. After the rst 90 days of ownership, repair
costs are the responsibility of the owner.
(4) Excluded Items Not Covered by the Warranty:
A. Cosmetic damage or damages due to accident,
misuse, abuse or negligence; B. Commercial use of the product;
C. Damage due to improper operation, improper
maintenance, improper power supply;
D. Customer inability to read, understand the
provided instructions on how to properly use the
product; E. Modications of any part of the product in any
way;

F. Damage resulting from unauthorized attempted
repair of the product; G. Damage resulting from acts of nature or God.
(5) To make a Warranty Claim please have the follow-
ing items:
A. Your original dated proof of purchase from an
authorized retailer in the United States;
B. Your original package that your product was sold
in. Your warranty claim will not be honored without
the original purchase receipt. If you do not have the
original package, please consult with our Customer
Service team to determine the best way to return
your product to us. GiiNii cannot be responsible for
damages incurred during return shipping; insurance
is highly recommended.
C. Please provide written statement (typed or printed
in block letters) that describes why your product
is defective. On this document, you will need to
include the Return Authorization Code provided by
Customer Service, as well as your Name, return
address, and a daytime phone number. Return
shipments to GiiNii should be insured and sent via
Registered Mail with proof of delivery.

GiiNii and its parent company, afliates or subsidiaries shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for breach of any expressed or implied
warranty on this product. Except to the extent
prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular purpose on this product is limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. Application of this warranty may vary by state; this warranty gives you specic legal rights and you may have others based on the state you live in.

proved by GiiNii International voids this warranty and may
result in personal injury and/or property damage.
