For G72 and G73 GDDR3 operation of 600MHz or below, C1 can be connected to FBVDDQ for backward compatibility with NV43 and NV44. For higher speed G73 GDDR3 design, it’s recommended to connect C1 to GND. The circuit in figure 3 can be used for backward compatibility with NV43.
