Overview
250D and 2250D fiber links transmit up to 16 channels of low-speed
digital data, switch/status information, or control-function signals.
250D models feature multimode operation, while 2250D models
operate over single mode fiber.
Programmable Outputs
Using microprocessor technology, the user may program the
receiver to provide 16 channels of alternate-action outputs, or 16
channels of momentary outputs, or eight channels of each type.
Outputs are TTL drivers and Normally Open (NO) relays. A com plete system consists of a transmitter and a receiver, configured as
standalone units or as rack cards.
Superior Diagnostics
The SMARTS™ diagnostic technology provides system status LEDs
that monitor the status of the data path and the optical signal.
