The 1045 Series features a wider make distance,

which permits faster installation, accommodates
greater misalignment and works better on steel
without time-consuming brackets. A wider break
distance helps prevent false alarms caused by
loose fitting doors. Sentrol-specified contacts
keep the 1045 Series from sticking or freezing on
seldom-used doors.

Applications

Use to protect openings such as metal entry/exit doors,
overhead doors, roof hatches or hinged skylights.

Architectural and Engineering Specifications

The contact shall be a reed contact, enclosed in an ABS
plastic case. Contact and magnet shall be a nominal 3.9"
(9.91 cm) L x 0.6" (1.52 cm) x 0.7" (1.78 cm) D, and have
mounting holes on 3.5" (8.89 cm) centers. Color shall be
natural, grey, or mahogany brown. Contact and magnet
shall be specified as Sentrol model number 1045 (or
other Sentrol model number depending on electrical and
gap requirements).
