POWER & CONTROL
DC Motor Smart Technology – The 140 volt DC motor with its 1 HPc* rating
offers quiet yet strong performance. The DC motor gives the ability to integrate Soft
Start/Soft Stop control, meaning the door begins & ends its travel smoothly instead of
abruptly. This also helps create less noise and less wear & tear on your door.
C-Channel Rail – Strong rail design helps promote durability & safety. Also
conceals the belt (or chain) for better appearance.
Speed – The powerhead has an opening speed of 9.0 inches/second** to get you
on your way faster.
SAFETY
Safe-T-Beam® Non-Contact Reversing System – When objects pass
through the infrared beam, the garage door automatically stops closing & reverses
open without having to make physical contact with the door.
SECURITY
Intellicode® Access Security System – Genie’s superior encryption
technology prevents piracy of the radio signal that operates your door by always
selecting a new code from billions of combinations each time the opener is operated.
Sure-Lock™ Control – Allows you to lock out remote controls & wireless
keypad at any time for increased security – also known as a vacation lock.
(Included with Intelligent & basic wall consoles.)
CONVENIENCE
Motion Detector Lighting System – Integrated motion detector turns
the lights on automatically when you enter the garage with the added benefits of
increased safety & security. The two light sockets can use incandescent (100 watts
maximum per bulb) or most CFL and LED light bulbs. Lights are positioned toward the
inside of the garage instead of the door for light where it’s needed most and will stay
on four minutes once you exit the garage.
Auto Seek Dual Frequency – The internal system automatically uses
either the 315 or 390 MHz frequency produced by the remote control to help ensure
the opener responds regardless of potential nearby frequency interference, such as
military base equipment.
Pre-Programmed Remote – Ready to use out-of-the-box with simple steps
to change the programming if so desired.

Mounts outside your door to give you keypad code access to your
garage, which is great when you are outside without the remote
control. Back-lit keypad lets you easily see the numbers & allows
you to control up to three openers.

Battery Back-Up Unit
No more unexpectedly getting locked outside the garage when
the power goes out! Genie’s battery back-up can operate a
garage door up to 50 cycles in a 24-hour period after the initial
power outage. *** Colorful LED lights show charge status.
Network Adaptor
Genie-Net is the intelligent platform built into TriloG™ & IntelliG®
Pro Series openers. The Network Adaptor simply plugs into a port on
the unit, giving your opener the ability to expand its capability to
work with other great products. Look for this symbol to
identify those accessories that work with Genie-Net!
Closed Confirm® Remote
Answers the nagging question as you leave home, “Did I close the
garage door?” Once it properly closes, the Closed Confirm remote
emits a beep & a green light flashes an assuring confirmation. If the
door does not close properly, a warning tone sounds & a red light
flashes. Operating range up to 1,000 feet in line of sight to the door!
Intelligent Wall Console
The back-lit LCD touch screen provides for easy-to-read information,
including date & time display. It also allows you to input service
reminders & contact info for your Pro Dealer for easy referral, and will
operate up to three openers.
6’ Power Cord (4024H)
Genie openers come with a standard 4’ power cord.
However, if you need a couple extra feet for harder to reach
outlets, then you want our 6’ power cord Model 4024H.
