TERMS OF SALE

SALES POLICY

It is our policy to sell to wholesalers and resellers. Possession of this catalog does not constitute an offer to sell.

PRICES

Our prices are subject to change without notice. All orders will be invoiced at the prevailing price at the time of shipment.

PAYMENT TERMS

We accept VISA and MasterCard or open a Gene Rich credit account and take advantage of our discounted, extended payment terms, subject to credit approval. Complete the credit application in the back of this catalog and fax it toll-free with your order to: 877-535-7036.

Credit accounts in good standing will enjoy 2% 10th Prox., Net 30 day terms. Discounts will be allowed on invoices paid on or before the 10th of the month following shipment. Invoices dated after the 24th are considered next month’s billing.

Please note: Discounts only apply to merchandise. No discounts allowed on freight or labor. Unearned cash discounts will be left open as an unpaid balance to the account. Any amount past due is subject to a finance charge of 1 1/2 % per month on the past due balance in accordance with the Truth-In-Lending Act.

MINIMUM ORDER

$50.00 Net order. Orders under $50.00 net cost will be assessed a $10 handling charge.

SERVICE CHARGES

$10.00 will be charged for shipments from our warehouse to the bus terminal.

C.O.D. ORDERS

No cash discounts allowed on any C.O.D. orders.

FREIGHT TERMS

All merchandise is sold F.O.B. Fort Worth, Texas. Gene Rich & Co., Inc. selects carriers for prepaid freight. Freight will be Prepaid & Allowed on orders totaling $850.00 net value or more at one time, to one destination. No freight allowed for order under $850.00 net value under any circumstances.

To qualify for Quantity Discounts & Prepaid Freight Terms, all quantities must be shipped at one time, to one destination. NO SPLIT SHIPMENTS.

DELIVERY

We strive to ship all orders out on the same day they are received. However, we cannot be liable for any loss incurred due to delays in shipping, whatever the reason might be.

RETURNS

Returned merchandise will not be accepted and/or credited without prior approval from Gene Rich & Co. All non-defective returns must be in original, clean packaging and may be subject to a 15% handling charge. Returns should be sent to our physical address at:

GUARANTEE

Our guarantee shall be limited to the replacement or credit; not to exceed the original purchase price, and shall not include any installation or labor charges of any kind. All Gene Rich & Co., Inc. merchandise is guaranteed against defects in workmanship or material for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase, excluding any diaphragm test gauges, which carry a 30 day guarantee. No credits or replacements will be issued for merchandise damaged due to improper installation or abuse. We reserve the right to determine if merchandise returned is defective, and our judgement shall be final in such matters.

TAXES

Federal, state, county or municipal taxes which we may become liable for shall be charged to and paid by the customer.

FAUCET STEM ASSEMBLIES

As a general rule, a valve stem which closes to the right (clockwise) will be your hot right hand threaded stem. If the valve stem closes to the left (counter-clockwise) it will be your cold left hand threaded stem. Not every stem follows this guideline. Exceptions include the Acorn, Chicago, Crane Dial-Ease and other brands of stems which do not close downward against a seat. These style stems close upwards against a seat surface. Faucets with round or square handles almost always close to the right (clockwise) on hot and cold sides. For replacement stems, order the right hand thread in this case.
