DVI RS232 Extender N

Send flawless hi-def video and RS232 signals over two economical CAT-5
cables -- up to 300 feet away.

Extending state-of-the-art digital video displays, computer monitors and touch screens has never
been easier.

Distances up to 300 feet are guaranteed to perform beautifully, giving you a reliable method of all­digital extension while streamlining your installation cabling needs.

How It Works

You simply connect the DVI RS232 Extender sender unit to your DVI and RS232 source using the
supplied cables. Your DVI display, monitor or touch screen plugs into the DVI RS-232 Extender's
receiver unit - up to 300 feet away. Two CAT-5 cables connect the sender and the receiver units to
each other, linking local and remote locations.

Note: The DVI RS232 Extender is HDCP compliant.

INTRODUCTION

The DVI RS-232 Extender sender unit sits next to your computer, DVD player or any set-top
box with a DVI output. The cable supplied with the DVI RS-232 Extender connects your
DVI source to the send unit. The DVI RS-232 Extender receiver unit sits next to your DVI
display - up to 150 feet away . The display plugs into the back of the DVI RS-232 Extender
receiver unit. T wo CA T -5 cables connect the DVI RS-232 Extender-S and the DVI RS-232
Extender-R units to each other.
