Thelargerslotin theadaptermust bealignedwiththelargerslot in thewalloutlettoprovideproper polarityintheconnectionofthe powercord.
CAUTION:Attachingadapter groundterminaltowalloutletcover screwdoesnot groundtheappliance unlesscoverscrewismetal,and notinsulated,andwalloutletis groundedthroughhousewiring. Youshouldhavethecircuitchecked byaqualifiedelectriciantomake suretheoutletisproperlygrounded.
Whendisconnectingthepower cordfromtheadapter,always
holdtheadapterwithonehand.If thisisnotdone,theadapterground terminalisverylikelyto breakwith repeateduse.
