GENERAL
This is a high quality replacement SnapDrive™, that is designed to give many years of reliable service when used properly. Proper line voltage, frequency, lamp, mounting, and environment are necessary. Each SnapDrive is tested for proper operation before shipment. Care should be taken when mounting and connecting the SnapDrive, and should be performed only by qualified personnel.

UNPACKING
This SnapDrive has been properly packed so that no parts should have been damaged during transit. Inspect to confirm.

The faulty SnapDrive should be removed first. This is accomplished by disconnecting all plugs that have wires going to other parts of the fixtures. First disconnect the power harness and then if applicable, disconnect switch quartz and bi-level plugs. Jumper plugs are not required to
Note: If unit is direct mounted with screws (3) the above procedure is correct except for latching. Instead, loosen then tighten the 3 screws holding the SnapDrive in the luminaire. Reinstallation is accomplished by orienting new SnapDrive in same direction and by retightening screws.
Check to ensure new SnapDrive is the correct type.
To install the new SnapDrive, hook keyholes on mount­ing tabs and push other end into spring latch. A positive ‘click’ sound indicates proper engagement. Place jumper plugs in proper positions – voltage, wattage and switch quartz as required.
Note: Failure to place jumpers in proper position
can destroy new Snap Drive Electrical System and
other accessories. Proper voltage positions are
indicated on the circuit board and in the Wiring
Diagram attached to each Snap Drive.
Reconnect main power plug. Close fixture.
