Thelargerslotin theadaptermust bealignedwiththelargerslotin thewalloutlettoprovideproper polarityintheconnectionofthe powercord.

Themoisturethatyourairconditioner removesfromtheairdrainstotherear ofthecabinetwhereitispickedup bya fanancldispersedagainstthe condenser.occasionally,morelikely duringstart-up,a “pinging”noise maybeheard.Thisisnormalfora shorttimein lesshumidareasand longerinveryhumidareas.This methodofmoistureremovalimproves
theoperationalefficiencyofyour
airconditioner.
Note:Beforemovingyourair conditionertoanotherlocation, turnit offandwait5 or 10minutes. Thiswillallowthecondensateto drainfromthecoilintothebase pan.Then,keepinga firmgripon theairconditioner,carefi~yraisethe windowandtilttheairconditioner totheoutsidetodrainthe water fromthebasepan.

Removetheinletgrillebygrasping the tabatthetopofthegrille,pulling outandIifiinggrilleout.
