Your hood has a nameplate on which is stamped the model number and serial number. To
locate nameplate, extend hood as far as it will open and look to left of filter.
Model and serial numbers are also on the Purchase Record Card which came with your hood.
Before sending in this card, please record the numbers in the space below, or get them from
nameplate described above, and record here.

Never leavesurface units unattended at high heat settings. Boilover causes
smoking and greasy spillovers that may ignite and spread if ventilating hood
is used. Use surface unit heat settings recommended by manufacturer and
adequate-sizeutensils.

Whenflaming foods under the hood, turn the fan off. The fan, if operating, may
spreadthe flame.

Neveruseyour cooking appliance for warming or heating the room.

Keep hoodand greasefilters clean according to instructions to maintain good
venting and to avoid greasefires.

DONOT USEWATERON GREASEFIRES.NEVERPICKUPA FLAMINGPAN.
Smotherflaming pan on surface unit bycovering pan completely with well fitting lid, cookie sheet or flat tray.
Flaminggreaseoutside pan canbe extinguished by baking sodaor, if available,
a multi-purpose dry chemical or foam type extinguisher.

To open hood above the upper oven, lift up handleat right of hood; to close push down on
handle. Use hood in its fully extended position whenever vapor or smoke results from
cooking such as when pan broiling or deep fat frying on the surface units. When the hood
extension is closed, an automatic switch turns the fan off.
