detergentsspecificallymadefor
useindishwashers.Othertypes
willcauseoversudsing.
Second,checkthephosphate
content.Phosphatehelpsprevent
hard-watermaterialsfromforming
spotsorfilmonyourdishes.Ifyour
waterishard (7grainsor more),
yourdetergenthasto workharder.
Detergentswithahigherphosphate
levelwillprobablyworkbetter.If
thephosphatecontentislow(8.7%
or less),you’llhavetouseextra
detergentwithhardwater.
Yourwaterdepartmentcantell
youhowhardyourwateris. So
canyourruralcountyagent.Oryour
area’swatersoftenercompany.Just
callandaskthemhowmany“grains
