UNPACKING/HANDLING
1
• This luminaire has been packed to ensure no damage
during transit. Inspect to confirm.
• Do not impact or stack luminaire after unpacking.
MOUNTING
2
Bird Shields
• The bird shield behind the pipe clamp has a 1 ¼ -inch
(1.660 OD ) opening. Remove shield if larger pipe is used.
Mounting Arm
• Unfasten, open and remove door from hinge cradle.
•
Adjust pipe clamp opening slightly larger than pipe size.
• Insert mounting arm through bird-shield (if used)
and into the luminaire until it hits the leveling-steps
extending from top of housing.
• Tilt the luminaire up or down using the leveling-steps.
A pad is provided on top of housing for a hand-level.
• To level, hold luminaire approximately level and snug
up bolts (4-5 foot-pounds).
- If upward tilt is needed, loosen the bolts slightly, lift
luminaire and insert it to the next set of steps.
- If downward tilt is needed, extract the mounting
arm from the luminaire to sit on a more rearward
set of steps.
• Once level, tighten each mounting bolt to 10-12
foot-pounds, alternating between bolts.

WIRING
3
NOTE: Make all electrical connections in accordance
with the National Electrical Code and any applicable
local code requirements including grounding.
NOTE: Verify supply voltage matches nameplate rating
• Use #6 thru #16 AWG service leads and match the
nameplate’s service lead temperature rating.
• Extend service leads approximately 7 inches past
pipe/mounting bracket end.
• Attach service leads to terminal board as shown on
terminal board and noted in Table 1. Torque to 35 in-lbs.
For wired dimming controls, attach dimming leads per

• Orient the photoelectric (PE) receptacle so that the
word “North” is directed toward true north.
• Seat and lock a PE control in the receptacle. Lift PE
control/receptacle and rotate clockwise until word
“North” is directed toward true north.
• Lower the PE control/receptacle to seat in position.
• Alternatively, orient the PE receptacle alone. Lift up
on PE receptacle rim and rotate clockwise until word
“North” is directed toward true north.
• Lower the PE receptacle to seat in position. Install PE
control.
FINAL ASSEMBLY
5
NOTE: Door interlocks with top housing in all positions
except in the vicinity of removal location.
NOTE: Doors are designed to be assembled to top
housing while in upright position with gravity holding
hinge pin properly in the hinge cradle.

STORAGE
7
• Packaged units should NOT be stored unprotected
outdoors in corrugated (cardboard) boxes.
• Store packaged units in a covered dry area not
exceeding -40°C (-40°F) to 50°C (122°F) such as a
roofed area or covered with a secured tarp to keep
water off the corrugated (cardboard) packaging.
• Replace door. Hold slightly past vertical and toward
pole-side of hinge.
• Insert hinge pin into hinge cradle and lower door to
hang free.
MAINTENANCE/CLEANING
6
• To maintain light output, occasional cleaning of the
outer lens may be needed.
• Use a mild, nonabrasive soap or detergent, of neutral
pH (pH approximately 6 to 8), containing no chlorinated
or aromatic hydrocarbons.
• Wash thoroughly, using a soft cloth.
• Rinse with clean, cold water and wipe dry.
