• This luminaire is designed for outdoor lighting service,
and should not be used in areas of limited ventilation,
or in high ambient temperature.
• Best results will be obtained if installed and
maintained according to the following
recommendations.

UNPACKING

• This luminaire has been properly packed so that no
parts should have been damaged during transit.
• Inspect to conrm.
HANDLING

• Damage may occur if luminaire is improperly handled
outside of pack.
• Do not impact or stack luminaire after removal from
packaging.
MOUNTING

Step 1
A. Drill pole per Fig. A if a square pole or Fig. B if a round
pole.

• II. Slip-Fitter “E” mount
Slip-Fitter mounts to 2-inch pipe (2-3/8” OD).
Install Luminaire on pipe and tighten each
mounting bolt to 10-12 foot-pounds,
alternating between bolts.

Power Leads
B. Mount frame and nut plate assembly to pole with (2)
3/8” bolts and lockwashers. If a round pole, install
Round Pole Adaptor.
C. Attach luminaire to frame feeding power leads
through Frame tube. Secure with (2) 3/8” bolts a
lockwashers.
D. Install cover over Frame and secure with #8-32
Screw.
E. Splice power leads to incoming power. Install pole
cap.
Strain relief for incoming power must be provided in the
pole top by the customer.
WARNING
DO NOT REMOVE TETHERS FROM UNIT TO PREVENT
DAMMAGED TO DOOR ASSEMBLY.
• To open Light Engine Door loosen both fastners CCW.
WARNING
Under no conditions should bolts be torqued to level
greater than 12 ft-lbs. (16.3 N•m)
WIRING

• NOTE: Make all electrical connections in accordance
with the National Electrical Code and any applicable
local code requirements.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ROTATING

OPTICS
• Remove both hinge bolts (See Fig. 1)
• Take door out of hinge
• Remove Tethers
Do not remove tethers until door is out of hinge!
• Remove four retaining bolts on door (See Fig. 2)
• NOTE: Verify that supply voltage is correct by
comparing it to nameplate.
• Terminals are readily accessible on terminal board
and will accept service leads ranging in size from
AWG No. 16 through No. 6.
• Service leads (See xture labeling for supply wire
temperature rating) should extend through mounting
bracket approximately 7 inches.
• Attach service leads to terminal board as shown on
luminaire nameplate.
• See table for screw torques (See Table 1).
• A wiring diagram is provided on a label in luminaire.

• Rotate optic 180 degrees
• Install four Retaining bolts and tethers
• Place door in hinge and bolt to housing
Do not reinstall door without tethers attached rst!

• (If option present) - Photoelectric control receptacle
should be oriented before control is installed.
• Loosen the two holding screws and rotate receptacle
until “North” is directed as near as possible to true
North.
• Tighten holding screws and install control.
• Lower PE receptacle to rmly seat it in this position.
Then install PE control.
