OPTIMUM EFFICIENCY
GE built-in air conditioners are
designed for high energy efficiency
with EER ratings as high as 9.5 for
Cool only and Heat/Cool models
and 9.2 for the Heat Pump models.
• Individual area units provide best
operating efficiency. Rooms can
be regulated independently for
maximum comfort level.
• An infinitely adjustable thermostat
offers settings for maximum
comfort.
• The Fan Cycle switch allows the fan
to run only when the compressor
or heater is operating for reduced
operating cost.
TRADEMARK RELIABILITY
The units are engineered to give
many years of dependable service.
The compressor, condenser surfaces
and other parts of the heat/cool and
heat pumps are specially treated to
resist corrosion.
• Wall cases consist of heavy gauge
galvanized steel protected by
baked-on enamel.
• Attractive room-side grilles have a
directional air flow adjustment and
are crafted from tough polymeric
compounds.
• A standard exterior grille of heavy
gauge, stamped aluminum is offered
as well as an optional architectural
louvered grille for use with RAB46,
47 and 48 wall cases.
HASSLE-FREE INST ALLATION
The installation is a snap and requires
no special ductwork, plumbing or
assembly. Simply mount the separate
case in a wall and then slide in the
one-piece chassis. It’s that easy.
Each unit requires both a solid-sided
wall case (RAB46,47,48) and an
exterior grille (RAG13,14E) for
installation.
All wall cases are shipped with a
RAG13 exterior grille installed.
Cool Units
Our “J” series models
offer a variety of
cooling capacities.
All “J” series models
feature the following:
solid-sided wall case;
adjustable thermostat
control; fan cycle
switch; four-way air
direction; up front
washable air filter; two fan speeds
for cooling; fan-only setting for air
circulation; attractive room-side grille.
Heat/Cool Units
Our “J” series models feature air
conditioning with electric resistance
heat and provide a variety of cooling
capacities along with electric resistance
heat. The Heat/Cool Units offer the
same features as the Cool Units, as
well as two fan speeds for cooling
and heating.
Heat Pumps
Our Heat Pump units offer efficient
summer cooling as well as economical
reverse cycle heating and back-up
resistance heat for cold weather.
Exclusive two-stage thermostats
provide resistance heat for quicker
warm up and when colder
temperatures require greater heat.
These units provide features similar
to the Heat/Cool models and have
the same installation requirements.
