heat is “stored up” in walls, furni-

Because of potential safety

Because of potential safety

westrongly recomend against the
use of an extemion cord. However,
if you still elect to use an extension
cord, it is absolutely necessary that
it be a ~, listed 3-wiregrounding
type appliance extension cord and
that the current carlying rating of
the cord in amperes be equal to or
greater than the branch circuit size
shown on the rating name plate of
the appliance. Such extension cords
are obtainable through your local
service organization.
Have the wall outlet and circuit
checked by a qualified electrician
to make sure the outlet is properly
grounded.
Where a standard two-prong wall
The larger slot in the adapter
must be aligned with the larger slot
in the wall outlet to provide proper
polarity in the connection of the
power cord.
