IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

• To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs or main body in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
• Do not operate appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Call our toll-free customer assistance number for information on examination, repair, or adjustment.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated oven or microwave oven.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
• Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet . To disconnect, turn control to ”off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• If a wet sponge or cloth is used to wipe spills on a hot cooking area, be careful to avoid steam burn, some cleaners can produce noxious fumes if applied to a hot surface.
• Do not leave appliance unattended while operating

Caution:
1. Never put food or liquids directly on the heating plate of main body. Do not use the unit without the plates (Center Dish and Round Dish) properly placed.
2. Do not connect other appliances except the Heated Party Platter to the outlet socket.
3. Let unit cool before storing or cleaning.
4. Do not touch the heating plate on the main body or the platter’s hot surfaces by hand before the appliance has cooled down completely.
5. Do not let children operate the unit.
6. Always use the unit on a flat and stable surface.

EXTENSION CORDS
A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is to be provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used,
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and
2) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet , reverse the plug. If it still does not fit , contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

KNOWING YOUR HEATED PARTY PLATTER
The Heated Party Platter comes with a dish that allows you to easily and efficiently keep dips and sauces warm.
The box containing your Heated Party Platter should include the following parts:

1. Before assembling your Heated Party Platter for the first time, set the Main Body aside
and wash the round plate and center dish, as described in the CARE AND CLEANING section of this manual. Use warm, soapy water on all parts except the Main Body, which should be cleaned with a damp sponge or cloth. DO NOT immerse the Main Body in water.
2. Dry all of the parts thoroughly before assembly.
3. Insert the power cord into the inlet socket. Set the Round Plate on the Main body. Then, set the Center Dish in the middle of the Round Plate.
Make sure the switch of the Main Body is set to OFF and plug your Heated Party Platter into an electrical outlet. Your Heated Party Platter is ready for use now.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The heating element in your Heated Party Platter keeps a constant temperature so that your food stays warm.
1. Push the power switch to ON. Preheat the Heated Party Platter making sure the round
plate and center dish are in place for 10-15 minutes.
2. Put the desired sauce/dip in the Center Dish of your platter. The food in the Center Dish will be kept warm.
3. In order to avoid spills, do not overfill the platter.
4. Stir the sauce periodically during use.
5. For best results, preheat the sauces/dips before putting them in the Center Dish.
CARE, CLEANING AND STORAGE
Always unplug your Heated Party Platter from the electrical outlet and let cool before cleaning any part.
The Round Plate and Center Dish are both dishwasher safe. You can also wash these parts by hand, using warm soapy water. Rinse and dry carefully before each use. Do not wash the Main Body in the dishwasher.
To clean the Main Body, use a damp sponge or cloth to remove any residue. Stubborn stains can be removed with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Dry carefully before next use. Never immerse the Main Body in water.
Check the Main Body of your Heated Party Platter periodically for damage. If any part of the body is chipped or cracked, do not use the appliance.
