Introduction:

The 14845 Flat Digital Amplifi ed Antenna is
specially designed to receive digital and analog
terrestrial broadcasted TV signals. The compact
and stylish design will blend in with any décor.

Important Safety Instructions:

• Use only the supplied UL-listed

power adapter

• This antenna is for indoor use only

• Do not install in wet locations or locations

that can get wet

Wall Mounting

For best reception, you will likely want to mount the
antenna above your television. Please follow the
instructions below for proper wall mounting.

1. Locate the mounting hardware

2. Locate the tools below (tools not included)

a. Some tools you will need are:
i. Tape measure
ii. Pencil or pen to mark your holes
iii. 1/8” drill bit and drill
iv. Hammer
v. Phillips screwdriver

3. Identify where you want to mount the antenna

4. Use your tape measure and a pencil, mark two

places on the wall exactly 7 inches apart (as
shown on the back of your antenna)

5. Use a 1/8" drill bit and carefully drill the two

holes marked in step 4.

Power Inserter

Installation:

1. Attach the coax cable from the antenna to

the power inserter “Antenna”

Power inserter must be used for the

antenna to work

2. Connect the attached coax cable from the

power inserter labeled “Receiver” to the
back of the TV

3. Connect the D/C plug from the power

adapter to the power inserter

6. Use your hammer and lightly tap in the

supplied drywall anchors until they are fl ush
with receptacle.

7. Use your Phillips screwdriver. Screw in

the screws provided until they stick out
about 1/16".

8. Mount the antenna onto the screws by

lining up the keyhole slots on the back of the
antenna with the screws.

a. Be sure you have routed the coax cable

in the direction you want the cable to go by
using the cable channel on the bottom of
the antenna.

4. Plug the power adapter into an AC outlet

5. Turn on your TV

6. Scan for your local TV channels following

the instructions found in your TV’s users
manual

ANTENNA HELPFUL TIPS
Maximize the number of channels you receive by

placing the antenna in several different locations
to see which location provides the best reception
and the maximum number of channels. Be sure
to run a new channel scan on your TV in each
position. Refer to the instruction manual that came
with your TV if you are not sure how to do this.

Position or mount the antenna as high as possible
or near a window for best performance.

Visit www.antennaweb.org or www.dtv.gov and
look for the DTV Reception Maps to determine the
available television stations and location of the
broadcast towers in your area.

Introducción:

La antena digital amplifi cada piso 14845 está
especialmente diseñada para recibir señales
de difusión televisiva terrestre tanto digital
como analógica. El elegante y compacto diseño
quedará bien con cualquier estilo de decoración.

• Esta antena es solo para uso en interiores.

• No instale esta antena en lugares húmedos
o lugares que puedan tener humedad.

Para obtener la mejor recepción, le conviene

instalar la antena por encima del televisor.
Siga las siguientes instrucciones de montaje
de la antena para instalarla en la pared
correctamente.

1. Localice los accesorios de montaje.

2. Busque las herramientas abajo

especifi cadas

a. Algunas de las herramientas que necesitará

son las siguientes:
i. Cinta métrica
ii. Lápiz o lapicero para marcar el lugar en

donde hará los orifi cios
iii. Broca de 1/8” (3,5 mm) y taladro
iv. Martillo
v. Destornillador Phillips

3. Identifi que el lugar en dónde desea instalar

la antena.

4. Use la cinta métrica y un lápiz, marque

dos puntos en la pared a 7 pulgadas de
distancia (como se muestra en la parte
posterior de la antena).

5. Use una broca de 1/8" y cuidadosamente

haga los dos agujeros que marcó en el
paso 4.

6. Con el martillo coloque los anclajes para

pared de yeso provistos hasta que queden
al ras de la pared.

7. Use el destornillador Phillips. Atornille los

tornillos provistos hasta que queden a 1/16"
de la pared.

8. Para instalar la antena, alinee las ranuras

en la parte posterior de la antena con los
tornillos.

a. Asegúrese de que el cable coaxial haya

quedado en la dirección deseada utilizando
el canal de cable en la parte inferior de la
antena.

Instalación:

1. Conecte el cable coaxial de la antena al

inyector de corriente "Antenna".
Para que la antena funcione, se debe

utilizar el inyector de corriente.

2. Conecte el cable coaxial del inyector de

corriente con la etiqueta "Receiver" a la

parte posterior del televisor.

3. Conecte el enchufe de CA del adaptador de

corriente al inyector.

4. Enchufe el adaptador de corriente a un

tomacorriente de CA.

5. Encienda el televisor.

6. Realice una operación de exploración de los

canales de televisión locales siguiendo las

instrucciones del manual del usuario de su

televisor.
