NOTES:
Prior to performing retrot procedure turn o gas supply to unit.
Heyco bushing should not be re-installed to replacement panel to ensure that there
is enough clearance to reach red button on bottom of safety valve (Item 3)
Install 1/2 NPT x 1.5” closed nipple (Item 2) into one of the ports on replacement
valve (Item 3).
Remove one of the 1/2 NPT x 1” closed nipples from existing valve and insert into
remaining port on replacement valve (Item 3), Re-connect replacement valve (Item
3) to existing gas train and leak test all connections before gas supply back on.
