Installation
Before installing t his kit, ins pect the M ine Di al Page/Phone t o ensure the u nit is in original fa c tory condition wit h no unauthoriz ed modifications or revis ions. This kit should only be installed in clea n, undama ged u nits.
Removing the Old Fuse Assembly
1. Unscrew and r emove the red wire from the posi tive terminal post of the b attery.
2. Cut the orange wire at the t op of the fuse holder.
3. Remove the screw in the center of the fuse holder.
4. Discar d the fuse holder, fuse, and screw.
5. Remove ½ inch of ins ulat i on f rom the end orange wire.
6. Tin the bare end of the or ange wire.
Installing the New Fused-Current Limit Assembly
1. Replace the fuse holder with the solder turret and secure tightly.
2. For m a “J ” hook on the ora nge wire.
3. Solder the “J” hook to the lower section of the solder turret.
4. For m a “J” hook on the lead end of the fu sed-current limit assembly.
5. Solder the “J” hook to the upper section of the solder turret.
6. Fa sten the lugged end of t he fused-cu rrent limit assembly to the positive termina l p ost of the bat tery.
