1. DCU12 Installation
The DCU12 combines a high resolution 12 inch screen and a keyboard into a compact
layout . The DCU12 needs to be connected to a MFDBB processor unit (this is not a self
contained unit like the MFD12 or MFD8). The DCU12 can be used with or without the
MCU001 (MFDBB Keyboard).
To connect the DCU12, you must use a 4 Pair ethernet cable and a DVI Cable.
The DCU12 Ethernet cable must be connected to either Port 1 or Port 2 of the MFDBB
processor unit.
Ethernet Cables that can be used to connect the DCU12 to Port 1 or Port 2 of the
MFDBB Processor:
- 2 Meter RJ45 to RJ45 Ethernet Cable (P/N 000-167-175)
- 5 Meter RJ45 to RJ45 Ethernet Cable (P/N 000-167-176)
- 10 Meter RJ45 to RJ45 Ethernet Cable (P/N 000-167-177)
Furuno offers the following DVI cable to connect the DVI output of the MFDBB
processor to the DVI input of the DCU12:
- 5 Meter DVI Cable (FUSA P/N= 000-149-054)
- 10 Meter DVI Cable (FUSA P/N= CBL-DVI-10M)
