result in a risk of electric
shock. Check with a qualified
electrician if you are in doubt
as to whether the product is
properly grounded. Do not
modify the plug provided
with the product. If it will not
fit the outlet, have a proper

This product must be grounded. If it
should malfunction or breakdown,
proper grounding provides a
path of least resistance for electric
current to flow and reduces the
risk of electric shock. This product
is equipped with a cord having an
equipment-grounding conductor
and a grounding plug. The plug
must be inserted into an appropriate
outlet that is properly installed and
grounded in accordance with all local
codes and ordinances.
This fireplace is for use on 120 volt
circuits and has a grounded plug. An
adapter is available for connecting
three-blade grounding type plugs
to two-slot receptacles. The green
grounding lug extending from
the adapter must be connected
to a permanent ground such as a
properly grounded outlet box.
The adapter should not be used if
a three-slot grounded receptacle is

Care and maintenance
• The fan and flame generator motors are pre-lubricated for extended bearing
life and require no further lubrication. However, we recommend periodic
cleaning/vacuuming of the fan/fireplace.
• Buff the trim using a soft cloth slightly dampened with a citrus oil based
product (available at supermarkets and hardware stores). DO NOT use brass
polish or household cleaners. These products will damage the metal trim.
• Make sure the unit is turned OFF and unplugged before cleaning the fireplace.
