1.3 Maintenance and Cleaning of Discs
Disc Maintenance
1. To keep the disc clean, handle the disc by its edge, do not touch the disc
surface of the play side.
2. Do not stick paper or tape on the disc. If there is glue (or analog) on the
disc surface, must wipe it up before using.
3. Do not expose the disc to direct sunlight, or nearby heat sources such as
caliduct, or leave it in a car parked in direct sunlight where there can be a
considerable rise in temperature.
4. Put the disc inside disc case to keep temperature after finishing playback.
Disc Cleaning
1. Before playing, wipe the disc with a clean lint. wipe the disc outwards from
the disc center.
Do not use petrol, thinners, commercially available cleaners or anti-static

5. Clock and Alarm Set
1) To di splay t he clock on the LCD display, press Clock botton on th e remot e control
2) To Adjust o r set the clock, press and ho ld the Cl ock Set button on the front o f the
unit or hol d the Clo ck button on the remote con trol un til the clock set feature i s
display ed on the L CD display of the stereo th en use th e volume knob on the unit
or + and - buttons on th e remot e control to adjust the tim e, push i n the volume knob
on the stereo or pre ss the SE L but ton on th e remote control to chang e from se tting
hours to minutes . Once ti me is set the stereo will aut omati cally set after a few secon d
of not pressing an y funct ions.
3) To set the Al arm Clock the Stereo must b e in AM/FM m ode when the Alarm Set
buttois held in. The alarm clock i s set in th e same way as above for the clo ck set.
Once the alarm clo ck is set , you will see the ALARM li ght ill uminated under the LCD

8.To adjust th e sound e qualizer curves
To ad just th e sound equalizer curve s, brie fly and repeatedly pres s the SEL
button to select t he soun d equalizer curves of VOL , BAS(w ithout preset EQ),
TRE (wi thout p reset EQ), BAL, FAD,BEEP (ON/O FF), then rotate the VOL knob
on the front panel o r press t he + or - button to adjust leve l.

Press the SLEEP SET button to se lect th e time you want to make the uni t go

4.5 Sel ect Cha pter/Track with the Numbe r Buttons
When pl aying D VD/VCD(P BC OFF) /MP3/WMA /CD dis cs, press on e of the
1~9 and t he 0/TA number b uttons to directl y select and p lay the 1 st to 10th tra ck /
chapt er (the 0 /TA but ton is used as t he 10 but ton).
If you wa nt to pla y the track/ chapt er with seri al numb er bigger th an 10,
use the 1 0+, 1~9 a nd 0/TA button. For e xampl e 1, to play the 1 3th tra ck/
chapt er, firs tly press th e 10+ but ton once, th en pres s the 3 button . For
examp le 2, to pl ay the 34th tr ack/c hapter, fir stly pr ess the 10+ bu tton for 3
times , then pr ess the 4 butt on.(t he 0/TA button is use d as the 0 bu tton)
Note: p ressi ng and holdi ng the +1 0 or -10 butto ns will a llow you to pl ay the ne xt
10 or las t 10 chap ter/trac k(onl y for MP3/WM A).
3. Radio Operation
1. FREQUENCY SELECT
In RADIO mode. Press and hold the AM/FM button to select your desired frequency EUROPE,
USA1 or USA2.
2. AM/FM BUTTON
In RADIO mode, press the AM/FM button to select your desired radio band of FM1, FM2, FM3,
AM1, AM2 , and the selected band will be displayed on the small monitor of the front panel.
3. TUNE/SEEK UP/DOWN
In RADIO mode:
1) Rotate the TUN/TRK KNOB to the right or left limit position stopping for about 1 second or Press
and hold the >>|/ |<< button on the remote control to automatically search up/down for a available
station from the current frequency.
2) Rotate the TUN/TRK KNOB or the press the >>| / |<< button on the remote control
to manually search up or down with step by step for your desired station from the current
frequency.
4. AS/PS BUTTON
In RADIO mode:
1) When pressing and holding the AS/PS button on the front panel or APS button on the remote
control, the radio searches from the lowest frequency and checks the signal strength level until 1
cycle search is finished. And then the 6 strongest stations are preset to the corresponding preset
number memory bank. The AS operation is implemented in each bank of the selected band.
When the AS operation is finished, it will resume broadcasting
on the M1.(It can store 3x6 stations for FM and 2x6 stations for AM in all)
2) When briefly pressing the AS/PS button on the front panel or APS button on the remote control,
the radio searches for each preset station from the M1. When the field strength level is more than
the threshold level of the stop level, the radio holds at that preset number for a few seconds with
releasing mute, and then searches again. After finishing a circle of searching, it will stop
searching on the M1.
NOTE: In FM band, FM1,FM2,FM3 is checked one at a time.
In AM band, AM1, AM2 is checked one at a time.
5. PRESET STATION [ 1-6 ] BUTTONS
In RADIO mode:
1) To memorize the current frequency on the current band, press and hold any one of the six preset
buttons (1-6) .

1. Pres s the TITLE bu tton on the re mote co ntrol to dis play th e title list .
2. Pres s the dir ection but tons to s elect your d esire d title, and t hen pre ss the OK
or PLAY button to open the ro ot menu of the select ed title.
3. Pres s the dir ection but tons to s elect your d esire d chapter, fi nally p ress the
OK or PLAY button to play the s elected chapter.

2) To recall the preset memory on the current band, press one of the preset buttons [1-6] .
6. STEREO/MONO BUTTON
Press the ST button to select the STEREO or MONO sound mode for
FM band.
7. LOC BUTTON
1) In RADIO mode, when the signal of the distance radio station are very weak and the receiving
effect is bad during tuning, check whether there is the word LOC on LCD. If there is the word
LOC on LCD, press this button to turn off the LOC function, then tune again for the distance
radio station;
2) In RADIO mode, when the signals from the local radio stations are too strong, this could lead
to interference. press this button to turn on the LOC function, and the LOC icon will be lit up on
the LCD. Re-tune for the local station required.

When PTY group i s on, pressing the 6 nu mber bu ttons a lso can select one of
PTY programs as above.
After selectin g one of th e PTY programs , it will d isplay SEEK PTY and
automaticall y searc h for the station of the PTY program. If the station o f
the PTY progra m does not exist, it will dis play PT Y NONE an d then re turn
back to the normal s tatio n.
Note: Press and ho ld the SPEAKER SELECTION BUTTON B on the front panel for
5 seconds c an turn o n/off RDS mode .
9. AF [ALTE RNATIVE FREQUENCIE S] BUTTON
Long press the SEL button on the f ront pa nel or press the AF butto n on the
remote control b riefl y, the AF switc hingm ode is selected and the sta te of the AF
switching mode i s displayed by AF segment.
Segment off: AF s witching mode off.
Segment on: AF swit ching m ode on, and has RDS informa tion.
Segment flashi ng: A F switching mode on, but RD S infor mation is not received ye t.
When the AF switchi ng mode i s selected, the radio che cks the s ignal strength
of the AF all the time. The interval of checki ng time o f each AFs depends on
the signal stren gth of th e current station, from a f ew minu te for the strong
station to a few sec onds fo r the weak station. Every t ime tha t a new AF is
stronger than th e curre nt station, it switches o ver to th at frequency for very
short time, and th e NEW FRE QUENCY is disp layed f or 1-2 second. Because
the mute time of the AF s witch ing or the checking time is v ery sho rt, it is
almost inaudib le in case of normal progra m. (Whe n AF flash on LCD, it will
search for the str onger R DS station. If AF and TP flash on LCD, it c an only
search for the tra ffic announcement s tatio n).
In FM mode, when A F is on, SE EK, (SCAN), AUTO-MEM ORY functi on can
only receive and s ave the R DS program.
10. TA [TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEME NT] BUT TON
Long press SEL button on t he fron t panel then rotate it or pre ss the TA bu tton
on remote shortl y to turn o n TA s earch m ode.
When traffic a nnouncement is transm itted :
1).If the unit is in D isc Pla y mode, it will switch to rad io mode t emporarily.
2).Temporarily s witch o ver to an EON linked s tatio n when EON detects a
traff ic anno uncement on that other pr ogram , and TA, TP will be dis played
on LCD
* TA i nterruption functio n:
The cur rent tr affic announ cemen t is cancelled by pr essin g TA button s hortl y.
* When TA is on, SEEK, (SCAN), AU TO MEMORY function can be receive d
or saved only when t raffic program iden tific ation code has bee n recei ved.
4.Basic D isc, US B Opera tion
4.1 Begin p layba ck
1. Press the POWER b utton b riefly to turn on the DVD pla yer.
After turning on th e DVD pla yer, please turn on t he moni tor, and ensure that
the video output o f the mon itor is the video input fro m the DVD p layer
connected with t he moni tor.
? Common Questio n
Q: Ther e is not an ything is displa yed on TV screen when the D VD play er is
turned on. How to so lve the p roblem?
A: Ensure that the TV was set to right video in put(n ot TV channel) ; for
example, if you ma ke VIDE O1 INPUT of TV a nd DVD player connected
with each other, th en you ne ed set TV to VIDEO 1.
2. Insert a disc int o the DIS C SLOT(Label surface up ).
! NOTE
1. For some discs th at are se riously scratched or po or manufacturing or
recording qual ity, it may not play.
2. If the player can n ot read d isc under normal c ondit ion, please try to
eject and reload t he disc a gain.
3. Remark :
1) In addition to no rmal CD and DVD, this unit su pport s to play CD-R,
CD-R/W, DVD-R and D VD-R/ W as well; however, d epend ing on the
conditions of th e recor ding equipment , recor ding program or the disc
itself, some CD- R, CD-R /W, DVD-R or DVD-R/W may not p lay.
2) When dea ling wi th CD-R, CD-R/W, DVD-R or DV D-R/W r ecording,
too high recordi ng speed may result in poor s ignal q uality and therefore,
it is recommenda ble to se lect as lower as possible r ecording speed.
