Deluxe Folio Case User’s Guide

The Deluxe Folio Case is a rugged, lightweight case for
protecting your STYLISTIC® Slate PC.

The folio case helps to protect your Slate PC and can be used
as an adjustable easel to view your system conveniently,
hands-free. Be sure to read this manual before installing
your system into the case.

Inserting the System into the Folio Case

In order to ensure your system is installed correctly in the
folio case, perform the following steps.

1. Place the case on a flat surface and open it. (Figure 1)

2. Lift the slate compartment at a point adjacent to the pen
holder and peel the Velcro flap from inside the compart­ment. (Figure 2)

3. Align your system so that the fingerprint sensor and

camera on the back of the system are in the same ori­entation as the matching openings on the back of the
case. (Figure 3)

4. Slide the system fully into the slate compartment and
re-attach the Velcro flap to the inside rear of the com­partment.

5. To secure the front cover when the system is not in use,
pull the elastic strap over the rear of the case, covering
the webcam and fingerprint sensor openings.

Adjusting the Angle

The case is designed so the system will sit upright in land­scape configuration. To adjust the position, lie the cover flat
under the system, then lift the display and push it back­wards until the bottom of the case edge rests in one of the
rows of card holders (Figure 4). Select an easel position to
suit your viewing preference.

Additional Features

Pen Holder: The folio case has a handy pen holder located

in the center of the open case (Figure 1). It’s good practice
to stow your pen when not in use in order to prevent
damage to it.

Pen Tether Attachment Point: There is a pen tether
attachment point located a few inches away from the pen
holder (Figure 1). Use this to attach your pen when it is in
the case to prevent losing it. To attach the tether, slip the
loop end under the attachment point, then thread the
pen through the loop and pull it tight. For stowing the
tether, it can be wrapped under the two “wings” on either
side of the attachment point.

Caring for Your Folio Case

The folio is made of top-quality materials and is designed
to withstand daily use. Treat the folio as you would a
briefcase or purse. Occasionally, the folio may become
soiled. To clean it, use a commercially available cleaner
and follow the instructions contained with the cleaner.
Never submerge the folio in water.

La pochette protectrice grand luxe est un étui élégant et
robuste, conçu pour protéger votre PC ardoise STYLISTIC®.

La pochette protectrice aide à protéger votre PC ardoise et
peut être utilisée comme chevalet réglable pour voir l’écran
de votre système dans l’angle qui vous convient, en gardant
les mains libres. Lisez ce manuel avant d’installer l’ordinateur
dans la pochette protectrice.

Installation de l’ordinateur dans la pochette
protectrice

Pour que votre ordinateur soit correctement installé dans
la pochette protectrice, exécutez les opérations suivantes.

1. Placez la pochette sur une surface plane et ouvrez-la

(figure 1).

2. Levez le compartiment de l’ordinateur ardoise à un point

adjacent au porte-stylet et décollez le rabat Velcro à l’inté­rieur du compartiment (figure 2).

3. Alignez le système afin que le capteur d’empreintes digi-

tales et la caméra à l’arrière du système soient orientées
face aux ouvertures correspondantes sur l’arrière de la
pochette (figure 3).

4. Glissez l’ordinateur jusqu’au fond du compartiment et

réinstallez le rabat Velcro sur la partie intérieure arrière du
compartiment.

5. Pour retenir le couvercle avant lorsque le système n’est

pas utilisé, tirez la sangle élastique et passez-la sur l’arri­ère de la pochette, de façon à couvrir les ouvertures de la
caméra et du capteur d’empreintes digitales.

Réglage de l’angle

La pochette est conçue pour que le système soit debout
en orientation horizontale. Pour régler la position, glissez
le couvercle à plat sous le système, puis soulevez l’écran
et poussez-le vers l’arrière jusqu’à ce que le fond de la
pochette soit appuyé sur une rangée du compartiment
porte-cartes (figure 4). Sélectionnez une position de
chevalet vous offrant l’angle de plus que vous préférez.

Caractéristique supplémentaire

Porte-stylet : La pochette protectrice est dotée d’un porte-

stylet pratique au centre de la pochette ouverte (figure 1). Il
est recommandé de ranger le stylet entre chaque utilisation
pour éviter de l’endommager.

Point d'attache du cordon du stylet : Vous trouverez un
point d’attache pour le cordon du stylet, à quelques
centimètres du porte-stylet (figure 1). Utilisez-le pour
attacher votre stylet lorsqu’il est dans la pochette pour éviter
de le perdre. Pour attacher le cordon, glissez la boucle sous le
point d’attache, puis enfilez le stylet dans la boucle et tirez
pour serrer. Pour ranger le cordon, glissez-le sous les deux
ailes de chaque côté du point d’attache.

Entretien de votre pochette protectrice

La pochette protectrice est fabriquée avec des matériaux de
qualité supérieure, pouvant supporter un usage quotidien.
Traitez votre pochette protectrice comme si c’était une
mallette ou un sac à mains. Si votre pochette devient sale,
vous pouvez la nettoyer avec un produit nettoyant ordinaire,
conformément aux instructions du fabricant. Ne submergez
jamais la pochette dans l’eau.
