Bluetooth Keyboard
User’s Guide

INSTRUCTIONS

This Bluetooth keyboard is designed to allow you to interface
with your Fujitsu mobile computer wirelessly and seamlessly.

There is a Bluetooth device located within your computer
with which the keyboard will communicate. Before doing so,
there are a few simple steps to take in order for yo ur system to
recognize the keyboard.

1. Insert two AAA batteries in the battery compartment (see
Figure 2), positioned as illustrated inside the compart­ment.

2. Set the wireless device switch on your computer to the
ON position. For the location of the switch, refer to your
system user’s guide.

3. Go to Start > Control Panel. If the Control Panel is in Cate-

gory View, select Add a device from the Hardware and
Sound category; if the Control Panel is in Icon View, select

the Devices and Printers icon, then click Add a device
from the menu bar.

4. Switch the ON/Off switch on the bottom of the keyboard to
ON position (Figure 2).

5. Press the [Fn] and [F1] keys on the keyboard simultane­ously. After approximately two seconds, the pairing (link­ing) of the keyboard and computer starts, and the pairing
LED begins to blink (Figure 3).

6. When you see the Bluetooth Keyboard icon under Add a

Pairing Code

device (Fig. 4), click the icon then click [Next].

7. The next screen displays the pairing code that is generated
by the keyboard within 30 seconds (Figure 5). When you
see the pairing code, press the [Enter] key.

8. A screen announcing “This device has been successfully
added to this computer” is displayed. Click [Close] to
exit the Add a device window.

Votre ordinateur contient un circuit Bluetooth lui permettant
de communiquer avec le clavie r. Avant de les mettre en
communication, vous devez exécuter els opérations simples
ci-dessous pour permettre à votre système de reconnaître le
clavier .

1. Insérez deux piles AAA dans le compartiment à piles con­formément à l'illustration (figure 2).

2. Placez le commutateur de communications sans fil de
votre ordinateur sur la position " Marche ". Pour trouver
l'emplacement de ce commutateur, consultez le guide
d'utilisation de votre ordinateur.

3. Allez à Démarrer > Panneau de configuration. Si le pan­neau de configuration est en mode d'affichage par catégo­ries, sélectionnez Ajouter un périphérique dans la
catégorie Matériel et Son. Si le panneau de configuration

est en mode d'affichage par icônes, sélectionnez l'icône

Périphériques et imprimantes, puis cliquez sur Ajouter un
périphérique dans la barre de menus.

4. Poussez l'interrupteur sous le clavier sur la position
Marche (figure 2).

5. Enfoncez simultaném ent les touches [Fn] et [F1] du cla­vier. Après environ 2 secondes, le jumelage du clavier et
de l'ordinateur commence et le voyant de jumelage
clignote (figure 3).

6. Lorsque vous apercevez l'icône du clavier Bluetooth sous
Ajouter un périphérique (figure 4), cliquez sur l'icône puis
sur [Suivant].

7. L'écran suivant affiche le co de de jumelage généré par la
clavier en moins de 30 secondes (figure 5). Lorsque le code
de jumelage apparaît, appuyez sur la touche [Entrée].

8. Un message annonce que le périphérique a été ajouté avec

succès à l'ordinateur. Cliquez sur [Fermer] pour fermer la
fenêtre Ajouter un périphérique.
