1.
- Do not use in any cases to charge small batteries or for non rechargeable batteries.
- Scheme of the charger contains the elements and nodes, under voltage mains. Strictly
prohibited to work when removing siding.
- To work with the device allowed a person trained, instructed and knowledge test electrical
safety, with qualifying group on electrical safety, not lower than III and the corresponding
certificate.
- When the battery stands out explosive gas. Therefore, in a room where there is a charge of
battery should be adequate ventilation and fire safety measures complied with (prohibited
use of fire, smoking, and avoid the formation of sparks, security in conformity with the
means of fire extinguishing, etc.).
- It is not intended for use outdoors. Exclude moisture and electrolyte on the device.

- Do not use the device in the absence or ground fault. Before connecting the appliance,
check availability and serviceability of grounding.
- Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet when moving the machine, before maintenance
and repair, connecting and disconnecting the battery.
- Position the machine in the room so that the panel should be easily accessible.
- Install the unit on a firm, level surface.
- Carefully read the instruction manual and battery charge from the manufacturer, prior to its
charge.
- Replace the network cable, repair and maintenance staff should be given only a qualified
service center.
- Do not charge defective batteries. This will lead to damage to the machine. To exclude the
loss of charging current and sparks before charging well you clean the battery terminals of
the oxide film.
- Do not leave your charger plugged on your car when you start it. It can break the fuse.
- Do not use your charger like an auxiliary power supply.
- It is forbidden to pull up current from the battery when the battery is connected to the
charger.

Before the workbeginning it isnecessary to checkup carefully:
- Be sure to check that your battery charger designed to charge the battery of such capacity (Amphours), see Specifications.
- Check the fuse. When replacing fuses, use only the original, the corresponding power of this
machine.
- Before connecting, make sure that the voltage is correct voltage for 220 +10% V. Connect the
device to beperformed by specialistswho have appropriatequalifications.
- Remove the battery caps if there is, and check the level of liquid. If it is not correct, filled up with
distilled water.
- Implementation and monitoring of the charging lead, in accordance with the Regulations with

Your machine has been designed with a maximum of protections:
- The charge clamps are fully isolated.
- The polarity reversal and the short circuits do not cause any danger. A double fuse ensures the
protection. The replacement needs to be done manually.
- The protection against the transformer overloads or starting on the charge position is ensured
by a circuit breaker on the front panel of the machine.
- If it trips, a manual reactivation is needed.
- Thermal protection: your machine is protected by a thermostat (cooling about 1/4h). A red
indicator lights in case of overheating.

Choose a shelteredbut ventilated areaunless specially fitted.
Remove the battery caps (if the battery is fitted with) and be sure that the liquid level (electrolyte) is
right. Otherwise, addsome distilled water. Carefully clean the lugs and terminals of the battery.
Check that the capacity (in Amps per hour) and the voltage (in Volts) are compatible with your
charger.
Do not connectto the mainsat the beginning.
Place the switchof the machineon STOP.
Place the selectoron the adaptedposition.
Connect the redcable on theDRIVE terminal +12Vor 24 Vdepending on thevoltage of thebattery.
Connect the clamp (”+” red and “–” black) to the “+” and “–” terminals of thebattery making sure you
get a goodelectrical contact andrespecting the followingorder:
irst, connect theterminal which isnot linked tothe vehicle chassis.
hen, connect the terminal to the chassis, in a location far from the battery and from
combustible pipes.
onnect the chargerinput to themains (220V 50Hz).

hen remove the connection to the chassis and then the connection to the battery, proceed
in this order.
This machine, as a traditional machine, needs to be watched during the charge to avoid the battery
electrolyte boiling andthe eventual acidpropagation in thevehicle.
The end of the charge can be detected either by the position of the ammeter pointer is in between 0
to 10A or eitherwhen the chargetime is exceeding10h.

Charge of severalbatteries simultaneously
Several batteries can be charged simultaneously by connecting
them in parallel (the “+” terminals connected to the red clamp and
the “–” terminals connected to the black clamp). These batteries
or grouped batteriesmust be atthe same voltage12V or 24V.
- Do not unplug the battery from the vehicle. If the battery is unplugged it can lead to information
being lost andeventually impossibility ofstarting the vehicle.
Do not connectto the mainsat the beginning.
Apre-charge may beneeded in orderto provide theenergy indispensable fora start. Pleaserefer to
the following table:

- Place theswitch of themachine on STOP
- If apre-charge is necessary:Place the selectorat the followingposition:
- Connect the red cable on the “+” DRIVE terminal 12V or 24V depending on the voltage of the
battery.
- Connect the “+” red clamp to the “+” battery terminal; and the “–” black clamp to the “–” battery
terminal making sureyou get agood electrical contact.
- Connect theDRIVE input tothe mains (220V50Hz).
- If apre-charge is necessary:Place the selectoron the chargeposition for about10 mins.
- START: Switch to start without disconnecting the input from the mains. Never try to start in
CHARGE position.
The charge inserial is notrecommended.

- Go to the control seat of your vehicle. By ignitiating, you will activate the starter function. If needed,
reiterate the operation.
If the engineis not starting,restart a completecycle (pre-charge, start).
