1.

- Do not use in any cases to charge small batteries or for non rechargeable batteries.

- Scheme of the charger contains the elements and nodes, under voltage mains. Strictly
prohibited to work when removing siding.

- To work with the device allowed a person trained, instructed and knowledge test electrical
safety, with qualifying group on electrical safety, not lower than III and the corresponding
certificate.

- When the battery stands out explosive gas. Therefore, in a room where there is a charge of
battery should be adequate ventilation and fire safety measures complied with (prohibited
use of fire, smoking, and avoid the formation of sparks, security in conformity with the
means of fire extinguishing, etc.).

- It is not intended for use outdoors. Exclude moisture and electrolyte on the device.
Prohibited from placing the device inside the vehicle.

- Do not use the device in the absence or ground fault. Before connecting the appliance,
check availability and serviceability of grounding.

- Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet when moving the machine, before maintenance
and repair, connecting and disconnecting the battery.

- Position the machine in the room so that the panel should be easily accessible.

- Install the unit on a firm, level surface.

- Carefully read the instruction manual and battery charge from the manufacturer, prior to its
charge.

- Replace the network cable, repair and maintenance staff should be given only a qualified
service center.

- Do not charge defective batteries. This will lead to damage to the machine. To exclude the
loss of charging current and sparks before charging well you clean the battery terminals of
the oxide film.

- Do not leave your charger plugged on your car when you start it. It can break the fuse.

- Do not use your charger like an auxiliary power supply.

- It is forbidden to pull up current from the battery when the battery is connected to the
charger.

2. Technical pecificationss

Before the workbeginning it isnecessary to checkup carefully:

- Be sure to check that your battery charger designed to charge the battery of such capacity (Amp­hours), see Specifications.

- Check the fuse. When replacing fuses, use only the original, the corresponding power of this
machine.

- Before connecting, make sure that the voltage is correct voltagefor 220(380) +10% V. Connectthe
device to beperformed by specialistswho have appropriatequalifications.

- Remove the battery caps if there is, and check the level of liquid. If it is not correct, filled up with
distilled water.

- Implementation and monitoring of the charging lead, in accordance with the Regulations with

3. Descriptionе

The DRIVE designedfor charging lead-acidbatteries and runon a liquidelectrolyte or gel:

Your machine has been designed with a maximum of protections:

- The charge clamps are fully isolated.

- The polarity reversal and the short circuits do not cause any danger. A double fuse ensures the
protection. The replacement needs to be done manually.

- The protection against the transformer overloads or starting on the charge position is ensured
by a circuit breaker on the front panel of the machine.

- If it trips, a manual reactivation is needed.

- Thermal protection: your machine is protected by a thermostat (cooling about 1/4h). A red
indicator lights in case of overheating.

4. Connection and Operating mode

U (CHARGE)se in chargingmode

These models can charge the battery in automatic mode (electrical control) or manual which
requires supervision by the user. In the automatic mode, you protect the electronic of your car and
you do notneed supervision.

- Use anindoor well ventilatedpremise.

- Remove the battery caps if available and check that the level of liquid is correct; if not, top up with
distilled water. Clean wellthe battery terminals.

- Switch offthe power supplyby selecting position“0”. Then, plug in your equipment.

- Select thecorrect voltage 12or 24 Vby using appropriatecommutator.

- Connect the clamps (”+” red, “-” black) to “+” and “–” battery terminals, making sure you get a good
electric contact.

- Switch the commutator to charging mode and then set the charging current to the minimum using
the potentiometer.After that switchthe power on,on position “1”.

- After one minute charging current,adjust the chargingcurrent by using the potentiometer.A normal
charging current shouldbe in excess1/10 of thebattery capacity.

- On “electronicmode”, when thecharging process isover,a light willshow on.

- On “manual mode”, stop the charging process when your battery starts to boil. Be careful about
explosive gas, avoidflames or sparks.

You shouldproceed as beforeand charge yourbattery for afew minutes
and then :

- Switch to start position, and then go to your vehicle, activate the remote control and start your
vehicle. Release theremote control afterstarting your vehicle.

- Under “electronic control”, the voltage on your battery will never raise above the normal voltage at
which your batteryis being maintainedwhen your vehicleis running.

- Do not use the start position more than 5 seconds at a time and wait2 minutes before to do an other
try.Otherwise, your equipmentmay go underthermal protection (wait10 minutes).

Batteries sulfated ordamage

The DRIVE doesnot reveal theextent of damageor sulphated battery.
a) our battery is severely damaged if: the ammeter needle immediately points to the high power.
Your batteryis worn outand not becharged.
b) If your battery sulphated: Set the machine on the fastest mode, and regularly check whether the
ammeter shows charging current. Once the charge current increase configure your device to the
charging mode suitable for your battery. If after 5 hours will not improve this mean that the battery is
the use ofnon-refundable.
