- The COMBI START must be stored in vertical position; horizontal position can only be
temporary.

Choose a sheltered room with appropriate airing.
Recharge the COMBI START in an aired place and avoid making sparks.
Regularly check the charger of the COMBI START , the plug and the case, to detect any

damage. If it is damaged, it must not be used before reparation.

In case the charging block case is damaged, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer, his

after sales service or by a qualified person, in order to avoid any danger.

Do not open the product. All modification or attempt of modification not done by a technician

of FUBAG can lead to the cancellation of the warranty of the product and of the
responsibility of the firm FUBAG on this product.

Separate collection required - Do not throw in a domestic dustbin.
The machine is delivered with a socket type CEE 7/7.
It must be connected to a ground socket 220 V.
The COMBI START must not be used as toy by young children, or used by young children

or disabled persons without any supervision.

electrolyte).

4. Connection and Operating mode

Starting a vehicle

In order totest the internalbattery,press TEST and theresult will bedisplayed:

Green light: Internalbattery is charged.Starting is possible
Orange light: Itis strongly advisedto reload beforeuse
Red light: obligationto reload.

Disconnect the COMBISTART rom themains. Turn the vehicleignition key toOFF.
Set the COMBISTART to OFF.

Connect the red clamp to the “+” terminal of the battery, and the black one to the “–” terminal. A

buzzer will indicateany polarity inversion.

Switch the commutatoron ON.
Go to the driver's seat and turn the ignition key. If your engine does not start, wait 3 minutes until

next attempt. (6 sec max).

Unplug the blackclamp, then thered one fromthe vehicle.
Recharge your COMBISTART after use (see 'Charging internal battery').

COMBI START integrates (has/contains/has an integrated…) an automatic charger, which will
charge its internal battery up to 100%, and maintain the charge, without supervision. The Floating
System stops /restarts the chargeautomatically if needed.
To recharge theCOMBI START:

- Ensure theCOMBI STARTis vertical/upright whilstcharging.

- Plug thecharger to themains (2 0V socket), andthe other endto the frontof the COMBISTART

- The greenlight indicates thatthe COMBI START is charged

Nb: IF after 24 hours the battery is still not charged (red or orange light), please stop charging. The
