/ The Ri-charging process marks a revolution in battery charging technology: The charging
current is determined by the battery’s effective inner resistance (Ri), which in turn is
dependent on the age, temperature and state of charge of the battery. Each charging process
is then individually tailored to the battery to avoid overcharging which greatly increases
energy efficiency during charging and reduces energy costs and CO2 emmissions. This also
significantly extends the service life of the battery.
