Systembusstecker montieren

Kabel abisolieren

Hinweis! Bei der Montage des Systembusstecker auf das Hybridkabel darauf achten,

dass die Buchsen und Stiftkontakte auf der richtige Seite gemäß nachfolgender
Abbildung montiert werden. Wenn die Kabelbeschriftung lesbar ist, ist die linke Seite die
Stiftseite.

Stiftseite Buchsenseite

LHSB Kabel Stift / Buchsenseite:

- Abisolierlängen gemäß nebenstehen­der Abbildungen markieren

Hybridkabel Stiftseite:

- Abisolierlängen gemäß nebenstehen­der Abbildungen markieren

Hybridkabel Buchsenseite:

- Abisolierlängen gemäß nebenstehen­der Abbildungen markieren

- Entmantelwerkzeug öffnen

- Kabel auf die markierte Länge mit dem
Entmantelungswerkzeug abisolieren

Hinweis! Das Schirmgeflecht darf beim
Abisolieren nicht verletzt werden und
Mantelreste incl. Baumwollfäden etc.
entfernen

Impedanzhülse
crimpen

- Werkzeug Impedanzhülse in Basis­zange groß montieren

Hinweis! Achten sie bei der Montage da­rauf dass,

- die höhere Backe oben montiert wird

- die Backen genau übereinander ste­hen

- Werkzeug Impedanzhülse verwenden

- Werkzeug öffnen

- Leiter in Impedanzhülse einlegen bis
Isolation gegen Impedanzhülse stößt
und mit Flachzange fixieren

- Leiter mit Impedanzhülse in Werkzeug
einlegen und schließen bis es öffnet
und gecrimpte Impedanzhülse ent­nehmen

- Schirmgeflecht umstülpen und durch
Drehbewegung auf die Impedanzhülse
wickeln

- Folie, Flies und Füllfaden entfernen

Hinweis! Das Schirmgeflecht darf nicht
über den Außenmantel der Leitung hinaus
ragen.

Innenleiter abiso­lieren

- Abisolierzange 0,14mm² verwenden

- Werkzeug öffnen, Leiter bis Anschlag
einführen

- Werkzeug schließen, Kabel aus Werk­zeug ziehen

- Abisolierrest aus Kammer entfernen

Innenleiter crimp­en

- Basiszange groß und Kontaktcrimp­werkzeug 0,14mm² verwenden

- Werkzeug öffnen

- Rasthebel nach unten drücken

- Kontaktstreifen von links einlegen

- Verbindungsstreifen an Streifenfüh­rung soweit einschieben, bis der Kon­takt zur Mitte des Profil steht

- Rasthebel rastet in Bohrung ein. Kon­takt ist im Werkzeug positioniert.

- Leiter gegen das Isolationsstopblech
legen

- Werkzeug schließen bis es automa­tisch öffnet

- Gecrimpten Kontakt aus Werkzeug
entnehmen

- Hinweis! Die Kontakte müssen gleich
lang sein Toleranz +/- 0,2 mm

- Leiter parallel ausrichten

Hinweis! Achten sie bei der Montage auf
die richtige Position der Nut gemäß Abbil­dung

- Kontakte gemäß Abbildung in den Iso­lierteil einsetzen

- Kontakte bis auf Anschlag einsetzen
und Gehäuse zusammen drücken

Metallgehäuse
montieren

- Backen HSD Sechskantcrimp in Ba­siszange groß montieren

Hinweis! Achten sie bei der Montage da­rauf dass,

- die höhere Backe oben montiert wird

- die Reparaturmarken nach vorne ge­mäß Abbildung positioniert werden

- die Backen genau übereinander ste­hen

- Isolierteil in Metallgehäuse außenbün­dig einschieben

Hinweis! Die Nut am Isolierteil muss mit
der Markierung auf der Metallhülse fluch­ten

Wichtig! Vor dem vercrimpen des Metall­gehäuses eine Überprüfung der Leitungen
mit dem Netzwerktester und dem passen­den Adapter durchführen – Details siehe
Abschnitt HSD und Hybridkabel prüfen

- Metallgehäuse in Werkzeug einlegen

Hinweis! Der Stecker wird beim vercrim­pen mit 2 gegenüberliegenden Punkten
als Reparaturstecker gekennzeichnet. Der
Abstand der Punkte zum Kabel muss grö­ßer sein als auf der anderen Seite.

- Werkzeug schließen bis es automa­tisch öffnet

- vercrimpten Stecker entnehmen

- Der Stecker wird mit 2 Punkten als
Reparaturstecker beim vercrimpen au­tomatisch gekennzeichnet

Abschnitt Allgemeines zu verwenden.

HSD und Hybrid­kabel Prüfen

- Datenleitung mit Prüfgerät verbinden

- Gerät auf Stellung Cable einschalten

- Taste „Test“ kurz drücken

- LEDs „1-2“, „3-6“, und „Shield“ müs­sen gemäß Abbildung leuchten

- Pull back the connector housing and
strain-relief device

Note! The pin insert is mechanically dam­aged during removal and must be re­placed.

- Cut off the control lines and HSD line

Fitting the system bus connector

Stripping the cab­le

Note! When fitting the system bus connector to the hybrid cable, ensure that the sockets

and pin contacts are at the right ends as per the image below. If the lettering on the cable
is still legible, the pin end is the left end.

LHSB cable, pin/socket ends:

- Mark the amount of cable to be
stripped as per the diagram on the left

Hybrid cable, pin end:

- Mark the amount of cable to be
stripped as per the diagram on the left

Hybrid cable, socket end:

- Mark the amount of cable to be
stripped as per the diagram on the left

- Open the sheath-removal tool

- Strip the cable to the marked length
using the sheath-removal tool

Note! The shielding braid must not be
damaged when the cable is stripped and
all remnants of the sheath, including
cotton threads, etc., must be removed

Crimping the im­pedance sleeve

- Fit the impedance crimp tool into the
large basic pliers

Note! When fitting the tool, make sure that

- the higher jaw is fitted at the top

- the jaws are precisely aligned one
above the other

- Use the impedance crimp tool

- Open the tool

- Insert the wires into the impedance
sleeve until the insulation presses
against the sleeve and secure with flat
pliers

- Insert the wires with the impedance
sleeve into the tool and close until it
opens; remove the crimped imped­ance sleeve

- Turn the shielding braid inside out and
wrap around the impedance sleeve

- Remove foil, insulating material and
wadding thread

Note! The shielding braid must not pro­trude beyond the outer sheath of the lead.

Stripping the in­ner wires

- Use 0.14 mm² wire strippers

- Open the tool, guide in the wires as far
as they will go

- Close the tool, pull the cable out of the
tool

- Remove remnants of insulation from
the chamber

Crimping the in­ner wires

- Use the large basic pliers and

0.14 mm² contact crimping tool

- Open the tool

- Push the locking lever downwards

- Insert the contact strips from the left

- Slide the contact strips along the strip
guide until the contact is in the middle
of the profile

- The locking lever engages in the hole.
Contact is positioned in the tool.

- Lay the wires against the insulation
stop plate

- Close the tool until it opens automati­cally

- Remove the crimped contact from the
tool

- Note! The contacts must be the same
length, with a tolerance of +/- 0.2 mm

Fitting the insula­ting part

- Align the wires in parallel to each other

Note! Ensure that the groove is in the
proper position (see picture) when fitting

- Insert the contacts into the insulating
piece as shown

- Insert the contacts as far as they will
go and press the housing together

Fitting the metal
housing

- Fit the HSD hexagonal crimp tool into
the large basic pliers

Note! When fitting the tool, make sure that

- the higher jaw is fitted at the top

- the repair marks are positioned to­wards the front as shown

- the jaws are precisely aligned one
above the other

Socket-end connector

Pin-end connector

- Insert the insulating piece flush into
the metal housing

Note! The groove on the insulating piece
must line up with the marking on the metal
sleeve

Important! Before crimping the metal
housing, the leads must be checked using
the network tester and corresponding
adapter – see "Checking the HSD and hy­brid cable" for details

- Insert the metal housing into the tool

Note! During crimping, the connector is
marked as a repair connector by two dots
on either side of the connector. The dis­tance from the dots to the cable must be
greater than at the other end.

- Close the tool until it opens automati­cally

- Remove the crimped connector

- The connector is automatically marked
with two dots during the crimping pro­cess, which indicate that this is a re­pair connector

- Strip the control lines as described
under "Stripping the cable"

Note! The CPC pin contacts must be fitted
to the pin-end HSD connector and the
CPC socket contacts must be fitted to the
socket-end HSD connector.

- Press together the CPC contacts us­ing Krystofek pliers

- Push the housing parts onto the cable
in the correct order (see picture)

- Insert the CPC contacts (pin contacts
and socket contacts) into the
pin/socket insert according to the table
on the left

- Fit the connector housing onto the
pin/socket insert

- Fit the strain-relief device hand-tight

- Push on the protective cap

Use the tools and equipment listed in the "General remarks" section to check the HSD
and hybrid cable.

- Connect the data line to the tester

- Switch the device to the "Cable" set­ting

- Press the "Test" key briefly

- LEDs "1-2", "3-6" and "Shield" must il­luminate as shown

- Switch off the device
