/ The presence of Cummins Inc. in Juarez City has turned green since the
company decided to install a photovoltaic system with 279 kWp in modules
a few months ago. With the presence of firms like Cummins in the north
of Chihuahua State (Mexico), the concern in obtaining benefits from
renewable energies is getting bigger in the borderline of the country. The
motor manufacturer is an example of dual application of a PV installation:
generating energy to satisfy (until now) the 6% of its entire consumption and
provide shadow to the employees in the parking lot.
