supply, let it stand for about 4 hours. This will reduce the possibility of malfunctions in the cooling system due to
improper handling. Clean the appliance thoroughly, especially the interior (Bee
Care and Cleaning).

CHANGING THE REVERSIBLE DOOR
Connecting to Power Supply
,, A 115 volt 60Hz., 15 or 20 amp power supply is required. ,, An individual, properly grounded branch circuit or circuit
breaker is recommended.
,, Install a properly grounded 3-prong electrical receptacle
recessed into the back wall as shown.
,, The receptacle must be located on the rear wall as shown. ,, Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if the wiring
instructions are not clearly understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly grounded.
The appliance can also be installed as a freestanding unit.
FREE STANDING INSTALLATION
Choose the location
Be sure the front of the appliance is unobstructed to allow air
circulation and proper access to the door.
Do not install the appliance where the temperature will go below 55°F or above 90°F.
Do not install the appliance where it will be subject to direct
sunlight, heat or moisture. Allow sufficient space for door swing.
This unit is not designed for use in a garage or any other outside installation.
Adjustable Feet Some appliances have adjustable feet on the front side; use them to level the appliance.
Plug Buttons or Screws
Bottom Hinge
1. Remove top hinge assembly and keep for later use.
2. Remove bottom hinge assembly and keep for later use.
3. Remove plug buttons from upper left holes and transfer them to uncovered holes at right side. Be sure to press plug buttons firmly into holes.
4. Re-install top hinge assembly removed in step 1 on opposite side.
5. Re-install bottom hinge assembly removed in step 2 on opposite side.
6. Make sure door assembly is properly aligned on cabinet before tightening screws.
The process is now complete.

engage the cabinet on both sides. Any of the wine racks can be removed to store
larger bottles.
To remove a rack:
1. Remove all bottles from rack.
2. Lift rack upwards and then pull out.
To replace a rack: place sides of rack back onto supporting guides in cabinet and push racks all the way into place.
Bottle arrangement The top five racks each hold
eight bottles with the necks alternating front to back.
The bottom rack consists of two stories, each of which holds
six bottles with the necks facing the front.
RED WHITE

COOL DOWN PERIOD The intended temperature range of the wine cooler is 39°F to
64°F (+/- 5°F ). Average temperature for red wine is 54°F to 61°R Average temperature for white wine is 43°F to 50°R The display usually shows the average temperature of the
appliance at that moment.
PRESETWINE ZONES: Press the [Red] or [White] pads to choose preset storage
conditions for Red or White Wine. (The indicator 'RED' or
'WHITE' will light accordingly.) The programmed temperature
for red or white wine will be displayed for a few seconds.
MANUAL TEMPERATURE SETTING: The temperature of the wine cooler can be set anywhere
between 39°F to 64°F by the temperature up =& and
temperature down _" pads as follows:
(1) Press the [SET] pad until you hear a "beep" sound
(approximately two seconds).
(2) Press the "_-_'_ pads to increase or decrease the desired
temperature in increments of one degree.
(3) Press the [SET] pad to confirm your choice - if no pad is
pressed within ten seconds your choice will be automatically confirmed.
Interior Light The appliance has an interior
light (max. 15W) for easy
interior visibility.

The ,_ indicator indicates status of the follows:
(1) It remains ON during the refrigeration cycle; (2) It remains OFF during the idle cycle.
To switch the interior light on/off, simply press the [Light] pad.
To switch the Appliance on/off, simply press and hold [White]
pad for approximately two seconds.

ENERGY SAVING mDEAS
Try not to open the door too often, especially when the weather is hot and
humid. Once you open the door, ctose it as soon as possible. This is especially important if you have an upright model.
Make certain the appliance is sufficiently ventilated (adequate air circulation behind the appliance).
,, Set the thermostat from higher to lower settings as soon as
possible (depends on how loaded the appliance is, ambient
temperatures etc.).
,, If the gasket is damaged or the door seal is poor, energy
consumption is substantially higher. To restore efficiency,
replace the gasket.
AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING OF THE APPLIANCE
There is no need to defrost the appliance, because ice depositing on the inner back wail is defrosted automatically.
Ice build-up on the inner back wall during compressor operation will defrost automatically (when the compressor has cycled off). Defrost water wilI drain out passing through the drain outlet in the inner back wail into a drain pan situated above the
compressor, from where it evaporates.
Stainless Steel
Ctean with a high quality, stainIess steei cleaner/polish. Frequent cleaning wiII remove surface contamination that could lead to discoloration or rust.
If any surface discoloration or rust appears, clean it quickly with Bon-Ami ®, Barkeepers Friend®, or a similar cleanser
specifically intended for stainless steel, and a non-abrasive cloth. Always cIean in the direction of the grain. Always finish this process with a high quality stainless steei cleaner/polish to prevent further problems. Rust that is allowed to penetrate the
surface of stainless steel can become impossible to remove.
Gtass Door Clean the glass portion of the door with any high quality glass
cleaner. After cleaning, connect the appliance to the power supply and
reload it.
CHANGINGTHE BULB
CLEANINGTHE APPLIANCE
Disconnect the power supply before cleaning the appliance. Do not use solvent based or coarse, abrasive cleaning agents
as you may damage the surface. Wipe the control panel with a clean, damp cloth and dry
thoroughly. Clean the cabinet and grille with a mild detergent and warm
water solution. Use a soft sponge and rinse with clean water. Wipe with a soft, clean towel to prevent water spotting.
Remove the detachable accessories in the interior of the appliance and clean with water and liquid detergent.
Wash inside surfaces of the refrigerator with a solution of two tablespoons of baking soda in one quart (1,136 litres) warm water, Rinse and dry, Wring excess water out of the sponge or cloth when cleaning in the area of the controls, or any electrical parts,
1.Pull out power plug from wail socket. Use screw driver to loosen screw that holds bulb protective cover and then
remove cover.
2. Rotate old bulb counter-clockwise to remove.
3. Screw in new bulb (max. 15W) clockwise.
4. Replace bulb protective cover.
SWITCHING OFFTHE APPLIANCEWHEN NOT IN USE If the appliance will not be in use for long periods of time,
disconnect the power supply, remove the contents, and defrost and clean the unit. Leave the door slightly open.

Your appliance is covered by a one year limited warranty. For one year from your original date of
purchase, Electrolux will pay all costs for repairing or replacing any parts of this appliance that prove to be defective in materials or workmanship when such appliance is installed, used and maintained in
accordance with the provided instructions.
Excmusions
This warranty does not cover the following:
1. Products with original serial numbers that have been removed, altered or cannot be readily determined.
2. Product that has been transferred from its original owner to another party or removed outside the USA or Canada.
3. Rust on the interior or exterior of the unit.
4. Products purchased "as-is" are not covered by this warranty.
5. Food or beverage toss due to any wine cooler failure.
6. Products used in a commercial setting.
7. Service calls which do not involve malfunction or defects in materials or workmanship, or for appliances not in ordinary household use or used other than in accordance with the provided instructions.
8. Service calls to correct the installation of your appliance or to instruct you how to use your appliance.
9. Expenses for making the appliance accessible for servicing, such as removal of trim, cupboards, shelves, etc.,which are not a part of the appliance when it is shipped from the factory.
10. Service calls to repair or replace appliance light bulbs, air filters, water filters, other consumables, or knobs, handles, or other cosmetic parts.
11. Surcharges including, but not limited to, any after hour, weekend, or holiday service calls, tolls, ferry trip
charges, or mileage expense for service calls to remote areas, including the state of Alaska.
12. Damages to the finish of appliance or home incurred during installation, including but not limited to floors,
cabinets, walls, etc.
13. Damages caused by: services performed by unauthorized service companies; use of parts other than genuine Electrolux parts or parts obtained from persons other than authorized service companies; or external causes such as abuse, misuse, inadequate power supply, accidents, fires, or acts of God.
